Well this time tomorrow there will be a heap of crow being served up to a lot of folks on here after this week of banter by both teams lol. I think it's safe to say that both communities are very proud of their teams and their accomplishments this year. I look for a very spirited and competitive game tonight with a crowd that will be loud enough to hear all the way over in Bruceton. I would suggest getting to the game early, word on the street is they expect roughly 5k people to attend. Pray that both team go injury free and that all attending have safe travels. For those attending Paul Ward Stadium for the 1st time welcome to our facility and we hope you enjoy it. My prediction is 42-28 Mustangs WIN!! However, I'll take a 21-20, 16-15 or any other score that ends with a Mustang win lol Good Luck Boys!!!

I suggest Mallards, I know several are talking about the Mic but its just a bar that happens to serve food. Try the hamburger steak at Mallards, it's huge and very gooood!

Visitors have their own ticket gate and the seating in Huntingdon's visitors section is about 2-3 times bigger than most 1A schools. Now, the restrooms and concessions are on the home side and its a loooooong walk! Maybe they will open up a smaller one for this game on visitors side idk..

See, that wasn't so hard lol Good post and pretty spot on! I would think that CV would want to grind it out and control the clock. Huntingdon is all about up tempo and moving the chains in chunks vs 10yds. I said it in the very beginning, team with less penalties and mistakes wins the game!

Bout what I figured...

So CB10, do you have any real football knowledge you care to share or is this the norm, just acting all goofy and throwing out 1 liners at everyone that appears to be from Huntingdon. Curious how you REALLY think this game unfolds and what facts do you use to back your prediction of a Cornersville win. I don't wanna hear any of this crap about last year. Different year, and they are different teams to some degree. waiting.... and will respond accordingly.

Eh, I think there might be some correcting needed here. Huntingdon didn't out size you they out played you! Better team won in a shootout end of story. I'm pulling for ya Waverly but if you think going to the running game against RS is going to get it done your wrong. I agree you cant be one dimensional but ya dance with the girl ya came with! Much like Huntingdon your offense is built to score and score fast, not 3 yards and grunt in a cloud of dust. A smashmouth football game favors RS, the trenches are their playground. OK, so now that you all have that under control can we now go back to the regular scheduled show and talk football? No doubt CVille is talented on both side of the ball. I guess from what I have read (seen 0 film) that they struggle a little in the passing game on defense. I look for C. Swenson to attack that weakness early (yes I'm praying it happens because we all know he doesn't like to pass). If this happens and we are successful throwing the ball it could be a long night for the dogs. If the Dogs come in with the same mentality to just run the ball I don't think they can keep up with Huntingdon scoring. The stats were posted for Huntingdon, they were not made up, there are multiple threats that the dogs will need to prep for this week. This comparison from last year to this year means nothing. Both teams are a year older, some additions made to both teams and some athletes lost from the previous year. I don't look for this to be low scoring game as others have said. I have no doubt that the Dogs defense is good, I just don't think they have seen an offense like this one. Before you say it, this isn't last years team, the offense is not the same, we don't rely on one guy to get it done. Key on one, the other will burn ya! Looking forward to the responses and keep it football related guys. I been doing the jab thing myself and that's all good, heck a couple of you should seriously take that mess on the road!

Yea, it's been a good couple of weeks. Steelers kicking tail, Vols decide to play defense, Titans played good on both sides of the ball, Huntingdon just destroyed MTP and to top it off we get to whoop up on some Bulldogs this Friday night!! Life is good!! Word on the street is ya might wanna get there early if ya coming!!

Yep!! We started a bit slow. (As did CVille I hear) But make no mistake about it, when it comes time to get with it against CVille them Mustangs will be in top condition!! Friday can’t get here soon enough!!
