Dad, Is it true that a coach from a Big Ten school was at CAK early this week to look at Smith?

Dad, With the revenge factor I think we just need to admit that Thursday night is going to be ugly. We just need to get out of Alcoa healthy. Compared to Alcoa we are slow and small. I really believe Rankin is going to shut down the long ball and keep #25 in check. I don't think #25 will be a factor other than drawing double coverage. By the way you looked good out on the field Homecoming night.

CAK comes to LaVergne this Friday night. If you live in Middle Tennessee as I do and want to see an explosive offense (can't say the same for the defense) this would be a great opportunity. Yeah, a punter with a 53 yard average will be hard to replace.

As explosive as he is as a wide receiver and punt returner, I think they will miss him more at safety. They try to restrict his reps at safety to reduce chance of injury, ironically. I believe I'm correct that the AC back last week had all his long runs when #25 was out.

Has anyone close to the CAK program heard that Tennessee has offered Josh Smith tonight?

Since things are slow I'll ask another question. I have been watching games where the band will play during a snap. This past week in Cookeville I saw an official stop play as the offense came to the line of scrimmage and pointed at the band for them to stop. But I watched other championship games and the band played the whole time including snaps. What is the rule? Thanks

Warrior, I would really like to see us play maryville. I don't know what the result would be but Alcoa is 2-2 with them the last 4 years in competiitive games.

Football Dad, I am so sorry your son was injured. When he comes out of a game, you know he is hurt. He is the toughest kid i have seen at CAK. I can't imagine his disappointment but i do know that we would not have made it to the state without him. It was great to see him go out to midfield on crutches at the start of second half as the captain. He is all class, our CAK team is all class and the Milan boys are all class. I know it's bittersweet but tell #18 job well done.

No doubt they are ready and you know that the Milan kids are too. It will be hard fought. Praying all the players stay safe from injury.
