D1 Ryan Fuller. D2 Corey Manson (if he is at that weight)

Where is Ian Haggard from Ravenwood going this year? 171 again or 189? He was pretty tough too. I think the freshman 171 from Franklin, McFee, who was a match from medaling at 171 has grown some as well. They might add to the mix. Minwell and the young man from Faragut are definately the class of this weight. but don't count Mr. Opio out, he has alot of Heart and is a tough competitor.

I predict that Independence will be just like Ravenwood. "Who are they." "Oh they're not bad." To "Where did they come from?" Great pool of athletes down there. Ask Courtney Coffey.

I won't be shocked if Martin or Haggard end up in the Finals. as for the rest you mentioned, they all definately have podium potential, and withan upset or two, maybe even finals themselves.

Amen, Hamm. Gonna be a good Semi, that is if someone doesn't upset one of these guys before then. To quote one of my favorite movies "nothing is written." Someone having a good tournament could step it up a notch in the prelims and knock one of the favs out of the tourney or into the consies. It happens at one or two weights every year.

The 215s for both teams are both pretty evenly matched and so are the Heavy weights. The Baylor Heavy weight looked very tough at the duals and the Franklin Heavy weight looked very powerful.

Yeah, lets add one more dual division. and combine DI and DII for the Individual tournament and have one individual state. Boy wouln't it be nice.

For me this was a welcome addition to the State Championship series. These were some very exciting duals betweens some pretty closely matched schools. Bravo. Worth the price of Admission.

Fuller is my pick at 130, but he we have to be on his A game to do it. Kerian is for real. His style is very similar to Holliman's of Brentwood, whom has been a difficult opponent for Ryan. The differences between Kerian and Holliman are that Kerian has better hip position on his feet and when he is in on a shot, which makes him harder to score on and hard to stop. All this said, Ryan is cabable of brilliance on his feet. he is technically very sound and when he stays attacking he is hard to stop. As long as he attacks he will win.
