I coached with kc at marion back in the days when he had complete control of the program. He is an excellent hs football coach, whom I have a great respect for. Our language was not always the best, however, we had a true respect and caring for our players. There was little or none parent moaning or groaning about our program. I know for a fact that Ken could not stand to lose and these last 2 seasons probably took a toll on him. Over the yrs. you have to believe the old saying, that if the inmates run the cells, you are going to have problems. I hope T. Layne and Seq. Co. get who they want, and I wish KC the best in retirement, will be joining that fratertinity soon.

You are not very accurate with you records, and obviously have a Gibson Co. education, because it shows. Now, if you want to meet and discuss all of this, I will certainly be glad to do so. Hickman Co. has one of the better stadiums in class 3A. The visitor dressing area is better than anywhere around middle Tenn. Home locker room is excellent, training room, officials dressing room, huge weight room, very good coaches offices and meeting rooms. All this plus a well kept (Mike Smithson) field. Will put it up against most 3A in middle if not all of Tennessee. Atmosphere is great on Fridays, its the only game in town, and our fans are excellent and loud.

Hope they tie, and play till sometime Monday morning ---- LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hickman County Bulldogs will be at the UT-Martin 7 on 7. 18 players and coaches leaving at 5 AM. Played pretty well there 2 yr. ago, got beat by Memphis Westwood in semi-finals.

Hickman Co. plays 7 on 7 vs. Perry on July 10 at 6 PM at Centerville, will be in Dickson on July 11 for 8AM till noon vs. # of teams, July 15 vs. West Creek at Centerville at 6PM, July 17 at Spring Hill at 6 PM, and at UTM on Saturday, July 19, all day.

No jamboree at Hickman Co. this fall, Bulldogs going to Columbia to play in theirs.
