Hickman County Bulldog Football - Spring practice, Monday, May 4 - Friday, May 15. Scrimmage - Mt. Pleasant @ Hickman, Friday, May 15.

Hickman Co. High will host the 1st ever Alumni Football Game between Hickman and Lewis. The game will be played on Friday, April 24, beginning at 7:30 PM. Cost of admission is $7, and proceeds will be split between the 2 high school teams. Consession will be available and the game itself will be 4 full-contact quarters of 15 min. each and will be officiated by TSSAA officials. Come to HCHS for an evening of football fun, and support the Hickman and Lewis High School Football Teams.

8-9 players return that had significant playing time on each side of the ball. Working hard in weight room right now, will go out to spring practice around May 1, May 4, - thru May 15. Baseball and soccer have lot of the guys right now. Spring scrimmage with Mt. Pleasant at HCHS on Friday, May 15, time tbd.

I know Bill Price personally. And I will tell you this, he is not the type guy to bail out on anyone. He stands up for his players, and although he is very tough on them, he backs them in wins and losses. I don't know how he wound you up (I'd say by putting several losses on your team), but I'll tell you this, he is an excellent football coach, who I think a lot of, and respect very much, and also a devoted family man with a wonderful wife, and 2 very fine daughters. I knew when he got to the point of retirement in Tenn. that he would take that leap ( he told me so, himself ) . So get off of it that he bailed out on his team - you need to bail out on this topic, and keep it to yourself. - Just my 2 cents worth.

The two middle schools played each other, braintrust. Middle school parents bring $ to your program, and you want to get them, and keep them involved.

Who are the finalists? Did Rewis get a chance to get interviewed, I know he applied late.

Need to hire - Tommy Rewis from Kentucky Christian University (Former Hickman County High Head Coach). He's from that area, has lots of ties to get a good staff, and is a d--- good coach.
