Bearden High School in Knoxville will be hosting a 10-team dual tournament on January 17, 2015. Each team will be guaranteed 5 matches on the day. We will have 2 pools of 5 with each team crossing over according to pool placement. We will award the top 4 teams with plaques. Entry fee will be $175. I would like to invite you to our Bulldog Bash next season at Bearden High School in Knoxville, TN. We run a 32-man individual bracket on Track Wrestling. Last year, we had teams from Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and South Carolina. We are looking to expand the tournament to include more teams from more states. All of your wrestlers will receive at least two matches in a double-elimination format. The dates of the tournament will be Friday and Saturday, December 20 & 21, 2013. Weigh-ins will be from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm on Friday. We will begin wrestling at 6:00 pm on Friday. The first day will consist of the first round of 32 and the championship round of 16, as well as the first and second round of consolations. Saturday weigh-ins will be at 8:00 am and we will begin wrestling at 9:30 am. We will run all the finals together on 3 mats and give all awards after the finals. Finals will start around 4:00 pm. We will give great team awards to the Top 4 teams and medals to the Top 6 individual winners. We will also have two OW awards – one for upper weights and one for the lower weights.
