I heard that since DaHaven tipped a few buses that the game has to be at a neutral site, any truth to this?

Wow, after reading all of these wonderful, colorful posts I don't know if I can add to this discussion, or even if I should, but I will attempt it. Why do FC supporters feel they always have to compare themselves to other public schools in the county? You the made the decision to leave public school and attend private school, I am assuming you felt that your student/athlete would fair better, socially, academically and in extracuriccular activities if you atteded a private school. So why is it so important to you now to come back and discuss how a public school "is a afraid of scheduling you" Would it not make more sense if another private school "was afraid of scheduling you" The TSSAA class system is in place for reasons above and beyond the scope of Wilson Co. teams Honestly, FC has a great bunch of players, could they beat WC who knows, maybe, I mean a blocked punt, an injury and anything can happen. Could they beat MJ sure I guess they could on a given night, maybe MJ has a bad game etc.... But to claim that FC is the premier program in the county becasue they won a state title and the other schools did not is incorrect. You can only compare your class and how you did in your class. I read where someone says " there are FC players that can definately play at MJ or WC" ..... I'm positive that is the case, however there are MJ players that can definately play at FC too ? I see your point it would be great if these county teams could play each other. Right now MJ has the best team, then FC , WC and LHS....... in 2 years that could all change. Maybe we should root for all county teams to do well in the playoffs ? I remember last year, when MJ and FC were in the state baseball tourney, they both laid an egg.

You do not know how this stuff works do you? Any HS kid throwing 98 will be drafted and drafted high, yea maybe he has control issues from time to time, but I assure you the minor league pitching coaches will correct that. I guess you have not heard of what player development is/means huh? Lastly, just about any high school pitcher can get to 84-85 but to throw high 90's is a totally different level..... BTW I'm a MJHS fan... not Tullahoma....

I agree bigger is not the case, quicker and strong at more positions..... FC has some good players no doubt.... jr. pro 6th grade, jr high, I remember FC was very good.... really has no bearing on this now, too much time has past, growth maturity roster changes, etc.....

So now we are comparing programs, FC has a great 1A or is it 2A now ? program no doubt about it, but as the other poster said comparing the schedules.. I hop FC wins another title..... that would be great, but this "need" to try and sell the idea that FC could somehow beat MJ is nuts..... even Commderman knows the truth.

I agree with your assessment, to have MJ's line pound a hole to then have to stop Hopkins or Mccarthren would be a tough task...

So let me get this straight, In my opinion, FC has a great football team and coach. But you want me to believe that FC is the premier football program in Wilson County due to the fact that they won the Class A title against a sub par opponent ? And now that they are going to Dll FC is the team in WC? Ans since MJ did not beat Whitehaven in the semi's that we are somehow are inferior to the FC football program? Your high..... most likely will get draft very high and never play college ball.

FCS has a great football team... as far as playing MJ, WC or Leb.... you might beat Leb and maybe WC but not MJ... Again most of the time the larger schools are deeper, and are a notch bigger at every position.. are there several players at FCS that could play at MJ or WC I can think of some that would not have any trouble playing at the level. But over all , size and athleticism up front would be too much.

I know a few kids on the Ill. baseball team, I think the bb team is on the right track, fb not so much

Did I say that? I would love for MJ to win, I have three sons at MJ but the facts are the facts.......MJ might not even beat Brentwood I hope they do I think they can. Talk, all you want, hope, wish and talk yourself into believing you can hang with Whitehaven. Have you seem them play this year? I have, Whitehaven is too quick in the skill spots, and too big up front......

McMurry, was effective last year due to others around him (Chowbay) was double teamed and spied which left McMurry open.... IMHO McMurry while not a bad player, is too small to carry any high school team. In fact he is at Lebanon now. MJ Basketball is in trouble this year...... .500 would be a successful season.

MJ over B'wood 31-28 by the way, Whitehaven will beat either.

WC is the best team, MJ is ok, lost a couple of players , Allen ruined this team 3 years ago.

Wow what happened to all the WC posters? talking all that trash..... the fact is except for a game here or there WC does not, has not and will not have the sports program that MJ has. All these posters trying to convince themselves that WC had the goods, keep dreaming. Roundtree, is he a jr. or a sr. ? plays like a jr. arm is good, not great, threw too many passes that were high, making his wide outs jump for the ball thus no yards after completion. WC was tired in the second half. They also do not excute as well as MJ. MJ did have some luck, but WC just turned the ball over too many times. I bet all those recruiters from the SEC left at half time. Also the officials were terrible.

Happy for the team, no doubt, LL as a whole is not indicative of the talent level at this age in this area.
