hermitage springs has made progress in the off season. they look good as a team.ethan birdwell is developin into a very nice looking guard,andrew lewis looks like a sure starter at the 2 guard spot,and curtis hatcher is looking beter he is getting in shape and working hard to develop his game.he hhas also calmed down a lot. i will be looking for those boys to make some noise and surprise a lot of people. GOOD LUCK WILDCATS!

this game was horrible ive never seen anything that bad i dont see why william got a T i dont care what anyone else says Dexter has done worse and hasnt got anything but of course williams dad doesnt pay the refs ... you can not tell me that when a player <andrew lewis> gets tackled by an opposing player <dustin dozier> at half court it isnt a foul.. and since when did the rules change that a coach can be halfway on the floor and not get a T <literally michael owens was knealed on the floor not out of bounds> .. can anyone give me a good reason why neither of those were called ?

yes i agree this was a very good game .... exciting ... both teams done very well tonight but oh well Hermitage Springs needs to think bout the other district games coming up and not let this get them down they played very hard ... congrats to Celina for winning

honestly I dont think Hs will win there is a chance cause anything is possible but I dont see it happening it would be awesome tho i just dont think we will lose by as much as some people are saying but then again if we play bad it will be a blow out but if we play smart it could bea good game altho i dont think we can pul it out so im goin w/ if we have a good game CELINA by 10 if we have a bad game CELINA by at least 20 or so but good luck to both teams cant wait

I'm just wondering what was the score of the PC - JC game and where was it played at ?

I know this topic has been dead for a while but I have a life and wasnt on here to defend myself when all this crap was said so here I go ... hen obviously u didnt read my post i didnt say it was the refs fault we didnt gaurd hensley i said we made 2 mistakes one was not gaurding hensley so read before you post .. the whole fact of HS fans not liking refs I'm sorry but you would do the same if you actually got into the games and didnt wanna see your team lose... and yes we did give up but not after one foul and a tech we gave up after about 15 fouls and a tech and yes the refs can cause a team to lose by 23 when they call enough fouls to equal 23 points in free throws and swanson to the best of my knowledge lie mike isnt from HS so obviously some other ppl dont like you either but i know this is kinna a delayed reaction but I havent had time to get on here and after reading this I thought I might wanna take up for myself GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS !

CONGRATS to the WILDCATS!! both teams played a great game last night I was very proud of our guys ! It was close all the way through but we finally came out and won keep up the good work guys and don't give up !!!

I hope HS can win but they dont need to get their hopes up but if we keep our heads in the game and not give up we can win but good luck to both team and it should be an AWESOME game but GOOD LUCK to everyone !!!

why did they call it i really wanna know i was in the gym the ENTIRE game and i didnt see a reason i would really like to know ? and there was a reason that there wasnt anyone posting not just cause we lost ... and the refs were horrible did anyone else notice that when McLerran got his 5th foul the woman ref was keeping up with it and laughed when she called it on him i wonder how much she got paid for that we only made two mistakes that night we didnt gaurd Hensley after he hit a 3 and let him hit 3 or 4 more and we gave up after we realized we were playin against 8 players instead of 5 ..the fouls yet again were horrible ... has any team ever went to JC and got a good ref ? ... I will admit JC is good and will do very well this year They arent a bad team and they really should do alot better if they keep gettin those ref that laugh when they call the 5th foul as i remember refs arent supposed to keep up with how many fouls they have called on the players... but ya know what we will never get a chance to prove ourselves if we keep getting screwed out of the games but its ok guys keep it up and i agree with somedaycoach I WILL BE AT EVERY GAME CHEERING FOR YA'LL!!!!! I know you can do it just keep tryin'

ook? ... just because they beat RBS they are state material since when does winning one game make you good enough to go to state? when they can beat PC and JC as much as they beat RBS then maybe they will be good enough for state but until then I dont think they are going ... <does any of that sound familiar ? ... I think Clay Co. is good enough for state but just beating RBS proves nothing they were good before the game ... ooh and swanson of course it was the refs fault

who coulda guessed there would be some excuse to why ya'll lost can you not give us credit for a win just once ... HS played good and deserved a win and they got it thats all that matters good job guys and keep up the great job !!!!

hummm this could be a good game if HS can handle the ball and try ... I'm gonna say Van Buren by 2 or 3 but hopefully i will be wrong because I know HS can do it but GOOD LUCK TO THE WILDCATS AND PROVE ME WRONG!!!!

do yall not have anything better to do than sit around play on the computer and criticize high school boys because they didnt win by your expectations BUT most people think a win is a win whether it is by 1 point 3 points or a million I remember when RBS beat us by 3 last year and everyone said well a win is a win why doesnt that apply this time I know they didnt do the greatest on some things but it was the first game this season and they were all nervous but at least they won so get off their backs and stop saying they should have won by more .. cause I am sorry to dissappoint yall but we only won by 35 thats sucha dissappointment

HS guys played really well tonite and it paid off I dont remember the score but it was something like 58-22 or something <correct me if im wrong> but i just thought i would tell everyone the result of the game

HS beat Westmoreland I dont remember the score there is a post on here ...

HS didnt win this game because of the refs they were unfair to us too but u dont see us complaining about it unlike the parents from westmoreland they were doin the best they could and we are sorry if they called some things wrong but it was bothways ... and yes i know it was just a scrimmage but it shows how much the teams have improved and how the attitudes have changed and that they have heart because if they will play that hard in a scrimmage i know they will play just as hard when it gets time for an important game ...and I MIGHT have not read the posts right but I seemed to have missed where HS was gettin cocky about this scrimmage all they said was they played good and beat them I dont see that as bein cocky but oh well you can think what ya want

1st- Clay Co.- I dont really think they will have much competition this year ... they have a really strong team and should get 1st easily 2/3/4/5/6- Jackson Co is a good team and i agree they will do good this year but im not sure if they are good enought to be 2nd ... Hermitage Springs - they have improved alot this year I see some changes in the team and still might not be good enough for 2nd but they wont be last .... Pickett Co. - I dont have alot of faith in their team this year I havent heard alot of stuff about them but what i have it wasnt good so i dont see them doin that well but of course its Picket and they always find a way to win .. Clarkrange- they always have a good team so you never really know .. RBS - with meador and heady gone i dont see them winning many games.. they still have some talent but without meador and heady I dont think they can win 7th_ Monterey- this team hasnt ever really been that great so i see no change this year ... they also lost walker and I heard one of their players got hurt and wont be able to play this year <not sure if its true or not this district has alot of talent and either team has a chance to take 1st or 2nd so we will just have to see what happens when the season starts...

celina or clay co. are good and if they dont win staye they missed one darn good chance

yea right HS ppl arent being cocky we are just statin the truth and when ppl say that they have no faith in us and dont see us as a threat then we should say something about it cause its not true because we have improved and as i remember JC wouldnt have won that game if there hadnt been 13 million fouls and as for RBS we only lost to them by 3 points last year and they lost 3 players and we didnt lose anyone so u dont need to start thinking we arent a threat we might not be the greatest but we are better than some teams they are sayin that... and have u noticed how everything on here is based on the past did it ever cross your mind that some things might have changed and the past doesnt matter ... so until the season starts you shouldnt say we arent any better than last year ... but good luck to everyone ... and HS i hope you prove everyone wrong and show that you can win and dont give up ... and devil ..
