Even though it's 6A the Siegal Maryville game tonight was a good one, definitely the most exciting game I've ever watched. My Page Patriots game against Signal this year was a good one also. I'm also young so keep that in mind, as I haven't been to a lot of games that my team hasn't played in.

And I say they are the state champions because I think the Giles Fulton winner either way was a better team then anybody they played from the other part of the bracket.

Shocked by the results of this game. Of course I preferred Giles to win being from Middle Tennessee but also expected it because I thought they were the best team in 4A. Still think that being the fact that it was there own turnovers that killed them in this game, credit to Fulton either way. Thy are the state champions this year and I never would have expected it.

Ok my mistake on the Cheatham comment. I thought thats what I read. Either way I like that for a set of oppenents. And Fairview I wouldn't have it any other then you guys waiting and wanting to come get that revenge.

So the word is were gonna play Summit, Fairview, Lipscomb, and Cheatham county in non district games that still means one more because we're only playing 5 district games. Gonna be a tough schedule but I look forward to getting to play Fairview still and also bringing back the Lipscomb game.

Fultons key to the game is there pass defense. Al Cobb is the real deal IMO and it's gonna be a tough test for the Fulton defense. If Giles limits the turnovers they win this game. Fulton has more team speed but Giles is the best team in 4A defensively. I like Giles in this one.

Then why did you have to leave? And do everything you could to leave I might add?

Well since we had some teams chicken out of the district, looks like we have to find 5 non district games. This will be interesting to see who all page looks into to fill the schedule.

Very surprised about this one. Congrats to Giles on advancing, I would say the semis will decide the state championship (Still think Fulton is one heck of a team). Credit to East Hamilton, you are a much better team then I thought you were. You played a heck of a game and your chances to win IMO.

So Fairview and Lewis County switched districts. Does anybody think they will be replaced by anybody?

That proves nothing. We're taking about a team that has a completely different set of players for both sides of the ball and are much better then Marshall or page. This is a whole different team then your first 2 oppenents.

The fact that anyone can argue that Giles hasn't played anybody is laughable. I guess 7 opponents in the playoffs doesn't prove it. If Giles hasn't played anybody then East hasn't either. Honestly you guys ran the ball down pages throat. You won't do that to Giles. This may be the best defense Giles has played all year. Remember Giles is the best defense you guys have played all year as well. This will be a close game and I see going down to the wire for 3 quarters. Giles has less guys going both ways and will ware East down and pull away at the end. Giles 35 East 24

Forgot to say this last week. But I tip my hat off to you guys at Giles. I was told even Coach OC himself called Page coaches on 2 different occasions to wish us good luck and that we're behind page right now to win last Friday. I used to really despise Giles my first couple of years playing against y'all. But youve proven to be a great program with a lot of class. That's why I want to see y'all win this game but also the gold trophy in a few weeks.

Why didn't I think of that. The Gorilla Glue can really be iffy about helping catch those balls HA!

If your referring to the East Hamilton game yes same for me. It was very frustrating. 3 of those drops would have been touchdowns.

Like Bobcat93 said. The difference is all those coaches recruit. The pool of talent for Maryville and Alcoa area is also huge compared to what Giles has to work with. Giles has what they have and they do quite a lot with it. I wouldn't call it the best coaching in the staff nevertheless. Still has to be considered one of the top 10 but not number one.

This is a very intersting game. If East plays like they did in some areas against Page then they get taken out to the woodshed. 5 turnovers against Giles=blowout. However I think they play the type of game that it takes to keep it close for a half to three quarters. Not taking anything away from East, Giles is just that good. I see Giles winning this game by 10. Definitely think I might have to make the trip for this one either way.

Page is behind you Giles. Your the only school besides Hickman still alive and 12AA is behind you. Take the next step in showing how tough our district is.

Thank you. The drops and a few other things is what really frustrates me about it. We've got a good core of players coming back so we will come back stronger next year but it's always tough when the season ends, especially for this group of seniors who put so much into it.
