Doesn't go into affect until the school year is over... So no post season coaching this year.

Please note that these are not final as the brackets have yet to be released... I'm sure they the do release them there may be some changes.... for all I know they aren't even right, just random. I just was playing around with track and thought I'd share... I wouldn't get too excited over anything until the brackets are released publicly.

Ok, I have the brackets ready for the Girls Regional and the JV State. Should be lots of wrestling Next year will have to move to 8 mats as more teams come in.

Sorry, just High School JV. Except for high schools where 8th grade can compete with high schools (TSSAA rules).

Here is the information for the tournament. Please email me back if you plan on attending so I can add your name to the list. And I can email you how to enter your rosters. Everyone is invited as long as they will not wrestle in the Regionals (D1) or in the State (D2). This is only for JV guys. I've had a bunch of coaches email me about the tournament but did not confirm that they would be coming. So please let me know you plan on attending. This will be run using track wrestling. ALL TSSAA varsity dual matches must be reported on trackwrestling... not the NWCA site. The NWCA site is now just for weight loss. All weigh ins must be reported as well on the typical NWCA weigh in sheet. Also yes all results posted on Trackwrestling are visible to everyone (just not team stats). If you have any questions email Mark Reeves at the TSSAA. Don't want any teams getting into trouble over something silly like not reporting, or recording weights. The TSSAA is rumored to be thinking about seeding the state tournament using data from trackwrestling... But that's just a rumor right now. So be sure to input your results.

Yes, and I am hosting it. It is not a real TSSAA state tournament. It is a tournament where anyone with JV guys can enter (even more than one in a weight class). I call it a state tournament because I will let anyone in the state enter in the tournament. Wouldn't it be great if we all got more mat time in? And just for the record some of these JV guys could place in the State if it weren't for some stud in the lineup ahead of them. For example last year my JV 145 (behind Jacob Freeman) Haydn Jennings beat the #3 145 in the state in a dual match. But he never got to wrestle because of Freeman/Warren/Reynolds kept him JV. Freshmen and JV State Tournament And Girls West Regionals (State Qualifier) Saturday January 25th 2014 @ Ravenwood High School $8 per entry per wrestler Weigh ins at 8am Wrestling Starts ASAP 4 mats There will not be any seeding except to separate any really good kids (please note if they are really good when submitting your rosters). The girls tournament will be seeded. Double elimination with an additional round robin when necessary to get kids their mat time in.
