His first year there he recruited the entire Basketball team and turned them from 1-9 to 9-1 The coach before him had talent walking the halls for sure. A 6'6" wr and a 6'4" starting QB. We have nothing of the sort at Camden who have the toughness to play football walking our halls. The physicality of football isn't for everyone. You know this. I personally think y'all are the better team than Huntingdon after having been beaten by both soundly even thopugh I know they won head to head.

Our point given up are definitely Matts fault at times. He refuses to punt giving up very bad field position at times. I am not one to question a coaches motives.

Just aint had the DNA the last 8 years or so with a few exceptions Benched the 3 upper class linemen for the riverside game due to the lack of effort vs Westview. Its headed The right direction. Junior High numbers are huge and the 8th graders been running Matts offense this season 8th grade QB is a stud . Sophemore class is really really talented and putting up numbers 2 years of Covid not letting him install his system didn't help. Taking notes on the doubters though. We already have the field it is getting installed in the offseason. Anymore questions?

Would have been a different Game if the Willis kid was healthy. He is in my opinion the best player we faced all season and it isn't close and I only saw him when he is hurt.

250 yards 2tds rushing and 300 passing with 4tds. I would say everything worked .

To be honest we go as our QB goes. When he is on we are hard to stop. When he isn t we stop ourselves. Very young team too.

Coach Blow defiantly didn't have the support of the town. Sad too. He knows his stuff, Game plans were always spot on but dads talking crap to the players about the coach=no respect for the Coach from the players. He had a great staff and the Truth is he had a lot of wins . The true fall off in Camden was two fold. The Loss of Coach Wolfe to west Carrol hurt a lot more than most know. Dude is a great coach great person and lived in the weight room with the kids. The other thing is DNA. We just dont have them horses in abundance that we did from 2004 to 2015. We have a few but not a really good football team worth. I think the world of Ward but no we would be in the same situation right now if he were here. He isn't burning down the region at Crockett County either. I have high hopes for Coach McConnell. He is a really really good coach and person. I do not think we will give y'all much problems tonight. We aint stopped the run all year.

I understand your confidence for sure. Camden has quite a few returning starters one is 4 year starter a 3rd year starter at Qb.. If Waverly isn't on their game things might be 14 the other way. The defense for Camden is more my concern.

I agree . Coach Wolfe coaching was worth three stops and a turnover a game most nights.

I was. number 10 is a handful for sure. I was told this is their best team in years but that isnt what I witnessed. The Tackles both hold every down and the refs being a scrimmage just let it go. Did you know Wolfe went to Milan then turned around and is at Henry County now? No idea why he left Camden again. I can only assume he and McConnell did not see eye to eye. Sad because they in my opinion would have really benefited from each other. I doubt he means that. He is a Riverside guy.

Thats how all of Camden went to bed last night. Never seen the ball thrown around like that by the Lions I am not sure we have a RB. I am sure the test is much stiffer in Waverly but it is fun to watch for sure.

I honestly had no idea what Camden might look like this year. I know less about Waverly. I will say this Coach McConnell finally put in his offense. Camden had 35 at half time for a 35-14 score when we sat the starters vs Bruceton final 80-21. We did not play several starters on defense mostly LBs. I look forward to the game as always see y'all Friday.

When other teams are stronger than yours it's a big problem . This isnt baseball.

Coach Josh Wolfe currently is at Milan. Former HC at West Carrol. His record at WC stands for itself. Resigned for reasons of his own.

Not sure about Waverly at this point. I was told by a senior that since the floods they have no way to hit the weights. Said they never lifted the rest of last season post flood. If thats true then it will hurt for sure.
