Mumford gave HC the ball at mid field many times in your game. And your proud that the Pats put 56 pts against their non aggressive, non tackling, soft defense.

I dunno but I do know NE defense avged giving up 25 ppg overall. They gave up 29 ppg to all the teams that made the playoffs that yr including HC twice.

I know the Jackets have seen plenty of film on the HC revamped offense and they know it’s going to be alot more difficult this time around. I expect the defense to be prepared. Im more anxious to see which Spfd offense shows up. Just like HC we’ve seen the highs and the lows. Both teams will be ready. As of now with both teams assumingely healthy my biased prediction is 23-21 Jackets.

But in your mind it wouldn’t be an upset if HC wins. Forget rankings. The Jackets have seen that before.

The game could have went either way last time. And I expect another slobber knocker this go around. I believe it will be close with both teams having a chance to win. But Im going to debate every reason why I think the Jackets have a chance

The Jackets really didn’t have to get to fancy with the play calling against Memphis. If it weren’t for, imo, bogus holding calls the Jackets put 40+ on them. I will say HC offense has gotten better with 17 back especially. Your passing is pretty solid which we saw back in Oct. If the Jackets can get into the gaps or backfield like they did in Oct then it’s not going to matter if 17, 35, or 4 is in the backfield. Jackets front 8 is fast and give big linemen trouble. Munfords front 7 was soft and getting blown off the ball and arm tackling and slow

Jacket football is ingrained in those fellas.

Both Henry and Beech has had success winning ‘ships and being contenders for a while and I know that it is fun for y’all. Makes you expect greatness. The Wilson brothers have made Jacket football fun again and for the most part it’s been the only enjoyable football I’ve had since the Vols have been in a slump. Talent was never the issue at Springfield but they needed the right coach to come in to establish a winning culture on and off the field. It’s fun to be a fan of a program contending.

And believe it or not their is alot of respect from Springfield for both HC and Beech. Both schools were down just like we were and both made good hires as well as Springfield. But we don’t have to like each other for a week
