With tonight being senior night for Springfield, I think Crenshaw plays. I don’t think he will be put in harm’s way much though. Hopefully the Jackets get up big and he can rest the second half.
I agree. Have to protect him and don’t run him imo.

We are depending on him quite a bit for sure, more than my liking, mainly due to what happened in the Beech game, you go to the well too many times you will eventually have a problem. Having said that, I cant blame the coaches for utilizing him so much as he has been very effective. Also, our 1200 yd rusher from last year has been out the majority of the season so that option has not been available and I am not sure what his status is atm. At any rate I just hope Crenshaw will be ready to go come playoff time...
I expect to see Daniels play Friday

It looks like that forfeit to Clarksville Northwest will keep them out of the playoffs

Question for the Springfield faithful: what the heck has happened to #23 Flair? He has disappeared the last couple of games.
I don’t know why the coaches haven’t dialed up big plays for him like they did first several games.

Well… I didn’t see 42 coming, but everyone thought I was crazy with 31. The lean on you until you break.
We didn’t see our starting QB go out with an injury coming either in the 2nd qt. This went south for the whole team after that it appeared. Beech took advantage of it.

Lol that’s a longish trip. I’d do the same
Not that long from Springfield.

Possible loss of morale ?
Watching it from my couch it looked like it. Beech took advantage of it.

Beech put it on after the QB went down for Springfield.
Like flipping a switch.

Disagree. A healthy Powell is a better team.
I guess

Well MJ has looked rough against 6a competition this year as well: Springfield lost their best player, and Beech is a stout team. I’d say Knox West might be the clear favorite at this point. Maybe Page or Nolensville will have a say.
Knox west was clearly the best team several weeks ago

I dunno....but it was fun while it lasted. If Devon isn’t right for the rest of the year Jackets aren’t going very far.

@RollRed don't worry about these Springfield dudes. They gonna get rocked by Beech and eliminated 2nd round by Munford. Mark my words.
With all that said.....see you 3rd round

Excuse makers?? Call them out.. call me out. My “excuse “ was we had to many injuries. Besides the ones you see on tape. Watch out #7 he limped around all game with a torn hamstring. So our “excuses” are real. We don’t even claim an elite Defense like y’all do. So when y’all had more punts than 1st downs in the 1st half, according to y’all it had nothing to do with our defense. YOUR EXCUSE…..(the jackets just didn’t play like themselves) we don’t have to make up any excuses. We won. Enjoy your road trips.
Facepalm go hang out in your own team thread

It’s just too hard to give HC much credit? I have yet to see anyone mention the phantom pass interference call that kept the game tying drive on third and very long going. Maybe we can be on Springfield’s level if another match up happens.
In my section we saw a few HC dbs holding and grabbing jerseys.

For those that are saying Springfield won’t get past Munford, well, we heard the same about Memphis Central last year when they came to Springfield for round 2. It was a boat race. This is really convo for another thread, but the 5A Memphis teams in the past don’t seemed to have played competitive teams like there are in Middle TN.
Granted, Munford may be the best team in the state but I haven’t seen them. We will have to wait and see, and hopefully Springfield finishes at least second in the region and gets a shot at them in round two this year.First game film isn’t really the best example going into week 8 but this is Munford win over Covington
