Does Central have much speed coming back?

Any chance he was with Peyton,and Lane down at Tuscaloosa working up some new high-powered offense! LOL, I saw they were practicing , wonder how many are out for spring?

I tried to put a link to Student Sports website. I hope it worked. This is where you register for the Nike combine in Atlanta . I took my nephew for 3 years and he enjoyed it every year. Very professional and well run. Last year with it spitting snow they tested over 1700 athletes, it gives you a quick look at how you stack up against some of the other athletes in the south (last year's high score was from Knox Fulton). There is no charge and I recommend it highly. They are also testing 7th and 8th graders this year. STUDENT SPORTS is the website to register and the Atlanta combine is March 22 I believe.

Congrats to Hixon on a great season and when Sequoyah played them 2 weeks ago , you could definitely tell they were well coached. What impressed me was that the Hixon coach left his victory celebration and walked across to the far end of the field to congratulate my nephew on his senior season because of the film he had seen, I thought that showed class and his effort was appreciated.

How big is #77 he has looks good, so does the right tackle, going to be some pads popping Friday when they match up with Chiefs linemen! Does #77 play both ways?

Based on how the Chiefs have been playing (especially on defense) I believe Chiefs roll Friday, and could have a rematch with DeKalb in the first round in Madisonville! Go Chiefs!!!!!

Gerry, Wouldn't Sequoyah at 7-2 be 4th seed and DeKalb at 6-3 be 5th seed since both are 2nd in their districts?

Troll, just to follow my logic, would you say there is a good probability that Sequoyah (if they beat Sweetwater) will be seeded 4th and host the # 5 seed, currently DeKalb!

With the teams that are in quad 2 , Hixon and Signal mountain will be seeds 1 and 2 in the district unless some other district winner is sent to quad 2, no other team currently in quad 2 could be seeded higher than 3rd, Is this correct? thanks for your patience!

Gerry, I may missing something, but as best I can tell in quad 2 Giles Co is at 7-2 overall and the other top-5 seeded teams are all 6-2,. My question is, in seeding does it make a difference if a team finished # 1 or # 2 in their district (ie home field for the first round) or once the 8 teams qualify is the first criteria overall won-loss?

Does anyone have any information about the young man injured on the opening kickoff for Kingston last night, I saw something earlier about surgery. I pray for his recovery.

Congrats to Wildcats! Proud of the Chiefs, they left all they had on the field! Imo when I see the talk about the best coaches in the state (Quarles,Rankin,Gaddis... etc) you have to put coach Davis in that conversation. Seems like no matter what, he manages to exploit others weakness and puts his team in a position to win.Good luck to the Cats!

I am having a big glass of BIG RED kool aid and I believe the Chiefs superior athletes and speed will finally overcome the Wildcats excellent coaching and precision execution. Polk's o-line is a pleasure to watch and I believe this will be a close game, glad to see the weather is projected to be good. GO CHIEFS!!!!!!

Polk line moved with precision and just took the defense for walker valley apart. They hit low and hard and just ground wv into the dirt. 35 just kept pounding right tackle. Chiefs are going to have to attack that o-line or it could be a long night.

Just curious to see if any Chief fans want to say anything about next weeks district game with the wildcats. I assume the Polk fans are focused on WV.
