Jacketman it appears you are here to discuss what should be a great game. I appreciate that. We lost alot of that line from last year and although we have alot of speed on the edges, we struggle just a bit with the power run. We have gotten some better as the year has gone on, but it has been an issue.

Looks like we have another team who fancies themselves unbeatable. So who have you defeated this year Fairview? How tough a row have you had to hoe? Yeah, we have slow backs, no hands and we dont even have a defense.. We just throw the cheerleaders out there since we are so inept as a team. Keep on thinking that way. We normally like to have a respectful discussion about any upcoming game on here, but if you claim victory already, then you just go on and enjoy that till friday. WTD You will figure out what that means soon enough...

Tigerman, you are right, that was a very good football team who was not afraid to take chances. After a run call on third and over 15, at the end of the game, which we failed on, we are very fortunate to have won. Maybe we were trying to lose to get an easier team in the playoffs and it just didn't work out. lol

WH has a good program and a very good coach. We had a hard schedule early and an easy one as of late. We had better be ready to bring it or it could be a long night. Our starters haven't played a full game in quite some time. I am a little concerned...

It is hard to argue against what Alcoa has done over the past several years, they are covered up with talent year in and year out. That coupled with a great coach is hard to argue with. What about coaches who get the most out of their situation? I think we have a pretty darn good one here at SC and a good staff too.

never take a game lightly.... I guess everyone has this one chalked up. If so, give me the score so I can stay home.

The tale will start to be told, about where we are this week, by how some teams fair against the two we lost to.. We did play a heck of an early schedule.

So what is it gonna be this week? This sure is a different kinda SC team. Trying to figure out what to think about the season and this next game...

I'll give you guys credit. You had the defensive game plan, no doubt. We couldn't figure out how to get you guys out of the box. Congrats on the win. What does not kill us will make us stronger.

Look at it like this.. We have a great RB, an improving D, a QB, I think has been pretty spot on passing the ball this year. We have played a murders row type of schedule thus far. I think by the end of the season, we will be a force to contend with. Hey, it sure is better than we thought we would look like a few short months ago... Never look a gift horse in the mouth.... have faith.

How the heck did you enjoy that game? You can't be an SC fan. Worst play calling I have ever witnessed. We bounced in and out of that useless wildcat all night. Ran straight up the gut with the entire team in the box on D... We couldn't stop the outside pressure all night... Our first scoring play that worked so well, we only tried it one freaking time.... It was obvious from the stands that they did not intend to let us run up the middle and brought pressure all night. Why not when we mainly called plays that flew right into their game plan, just like a moth drawn to a flame. We held them on defense better than I expected and then we got stupid on offense. We love Jet Sweeps, usually, but no,, not when a team is stacked in the middle, and it might actually work...

lol I was kidding with my pick. I think it will be a high scoring game. I hope we do not have to put up 50 to win. Seriously, I have no idea what to expect. Our D was down for one game. After a week that we all get too hyped about and they were just plain flat. Our O has improved every week. Sounds like DC has a much better defense than last season. Sure they have had easy games, but shutting anyone out is not easy. I think it will be a great game. We go into it as an under dog, rightly so. You never know how games like this will play out. As for saying our RB is not doing that well. I think he averaged about 30 yards a carry last week... We also made big gains throwing the ball too. Starters were pulled early 3rd quarter or we might have put up 70 plus points.

It's ok, we have a very talented bunch that can be a factor. Different than what we might be use to. Just let this team jel and enjoy. We will be fine.
