Yeah, I don't remember missing any of our school football games for competitions either. I was in Page's band before they started winning so much. Graduated in '90. Sorry for hijacking the football post!

Well CPA will get a visit from the tall snare drummer during basketball season. We may get whooped but I bet they'll remember her. lol

You would think so. I mean they could leave the uniforms at home. State championship is a long day though. They'll start at 9am but they'll probably be there til midnight. Sit, wait, warm up, perform, sit wait, hear results; hopefully sit, wait, warm up and perform again. . more sitting and waiting. . freeze a little. Wait for final results.

Sadly, Cascade's band won't be there this Friday. They have to be on the field for the state competition early Saturday morning. There are some pretty big, athletic kids in band though. Maybe they can go help our football team!

Is there a list of schools playing yet?

Ok, I thought it was just me or maybe I missed something. I don't want to say bad things about a kid. I don't even know who it is so I thought maybe their best player just wasn't there. Their coach started saying nice things to my kid after the game (she scored 17 on them) but then followed it up with something strangely derogatory. Maybe she shows something special in AAU.

I saw someone from Red Boiling Springs on the list in the Second 25. Cascade played them at camp but I don't recall anyone standing out at all. Maybe she wasn't there?

I know. That was very frustrating. I kept going back and forth from channel 8 to 22 trying to catch one working. I got to enjoy a show about quilting and a show about wood. :-/

Did they announce the AAA Miss Basketball? If they did, I missed it.

Cascade is losing 7 seniors but they will be moving up to AA next year. They'll be in the District with Page, I believe 12AA?

Yeah, we couldn't stop Raby and it wasn't just her. They were throwing up 3's left & right & we only had 1, which is very rare.
