  1. I wouldn't call Spring Hill a bad team. Two of their three losses came to really good teams. They also played CPA a lot better than we did.
  2. And here we go! lol One comment, Marshall and CPA are in different classifications and don't compete for the same title. So, in no way can CPA keep Marshall from going to the state title game. As a matter of fact, both 4A teams in the title game were public schools last year.
  3. There is no reason we should not win this game, but that could be said for a few of our losses this season. I think we win a close one. 27-21
  4. Well, we move to 1-2 all time versus the state power known as Ensworth. Just glad we got out healthy. I was really upset with #78 not getting thrown out of the game. I lost a lot of respect for the hoighty toighty Ensworth fans last night. Also why did Bowers keep his starters in for so long? Seemed a little unnecessary to me.
  5. So you're not a fan? That explains why you don't really care about what I am saying then. Also go back and look through all of my posts and tell me where I posted gibberish about any player on this team! I have always been supportive of the players and always will be. That is why I think it is so essential to get rid of Walt....It's for the benefit of the players.
  6. See how I gave you a proper and adult answer there Steve? Now I would appreciate a mutual respect from you in answering my questions.
  7. I am a Giles fan and have been my entire life. I even played for Giles once upon a time. If I wasn't invested in this team and didn't care about the future of the program I wouldn't be commenting on this. I may have a pessimistic viewpoint according to some on here but my heart is in the right place. I refuse to wear rose colored glasses and act like everything is fine. If the fans remain quiet, change will be slow or none at all. I know for a fact I am not in the minority on this, if you pay attention to the chatter in the dwindling crowd on a friday night in the Brickyard you would realize this.
  8. I can understand that. I'm merely copying his "kindergarten" tactic, as you put it, because he won't answer my questions rationally and to the point. He avoids anything I ask like it's the ebola virus because he is in denial and can't handle the situation.
  9. By Cats, you are referring to the Tigers right?
  10. If you are going to post on here, could you at least say something that will add value to the silence?
  11. This whole no value added to the silence reminds me a lot of listening to Steve on the radio. Wade makes a good comment and Steve adds nothing of value
  12. A little hypocritical since you aren't adding value to the silence either.
  13. Did that comment add value to the silence? Don't think so Look, I can be an idiot too.
  14. That's what I figured, another snide remark. I'll give you this though, you are consistent in your ignorance. I can't stand your type. Once Walt is canned, you'll be on here talking about how he wasn't the right fit and we are better off now. You did the exact same thing with OC and staff. Speak what you really think for a change.
  15. I've noticed you never answer my questions, you just jump around them with a smart remark. Grow a pair and respond to my comment like an adult.
  16. Steve, do you really believe half of what you write on here? It's hard for me to believe that you are that ignorant about what is going on. I mean, I don't consider you to be one of the more knowledgeable football minds around but you know better than to support a man that is destroying the program.
  17. The bad thing is, there wasn't a drop in talent. This is one of the more talented teams we have had. What we had was a drop in coaching. Don't let pride bring the program down??? The program is already down. What's complaining going to hurt?
  18. Ensworth-how ever many points they want to score Giles-6
  19. A lot of yall have hit the nail on the head. Preparation is key in anything, and particularly football. When the previous staff was here, practices lasted from 1:30-dark, which was usually 6:00-7:00. From what I have heard, Walt ends practice around 4:30. That's about 7 less hours of preparation a week. It might not seem like much, but as we can tell it matters. We can talk about him being a good guy and having high character all day, and I get that those are good things, but they do not equal wins. And before anyone says it, that isn't the most important thing, but if you aren't playing to win then why play at all? Tell those boys that it doesn't matter if you win and see how they look at you. I could go on all day about what I think the problems are, but it really won't help anything right now. I just hope that the administration sees what is happening and responds accordingly.
  20. They don't do speed school anymore because the man that ran it, the same one you guys criticize so often, isn't here anymore.
  21. Also, can't wait to see what kind of unrealistic, rosey-eyed BS Steve has to say after this loss.
  22. Good call there Steve! You hit the nail on the head! The crowd is a thinning and the fans are starting to wake up! I heard a lot of unhappy comments about Walt in the stands tonight. The team is so undisciplined and have no energy. He wants to get mad at them when they mess up, but it's his fault. He takes no blame. Conditioning is poor to say the least. A big thing I've noticed is that when the offense or defense comes off the field after a possession they go their separate ways. The position coaches and coordinators should have them together going over what happened on the series. Instead they do absolutely ZERO coaching in game. I'm getting really fed up with this guy.
  23. On paper you're right, but have you seen what happens when a team throws the ball on us this season? Cascade, Shelbyville, even Tullahoma had success through the air.
