yeah man at South Pittsburg we're with ya on this! we can't yell anything because its always considered "disrespectful." since when?? it's been going on for 75 years! we can't do the "nuts and bolts" chant either. at one game we held up newspapers during the opponent introductions, and that was considered "offensive." it's getting where the students don't even want to go to the games because they're expected to sit there politely for three hours. it's sad because it hurts our teams too! it's like they're playing all away games! it's ridiculous! i say, "nuts and bolts, nuts and bolts, we're getting screwed!"

woa, woa, woa, let's slow the 6-a hawk train down. over here in 5-a you actually have to win a district playoff game to get in the region or finish 1st or 2nd in the reg. season. i'm not seeing that happening. but, since you beat the mighty whatevers from sale creek, you're my new pick for class a state champ! what do you think might be the reason? I agree and think it might be an overall lack of fan and school support. i'm not talking about games like temple vs. grace, but i've been to some temple, arts & sciences, and other area games this year and they didn't have near the crowds they used to in the 80s and 90s.

whitwell does play dirty...no doubt about it, but i don't think their coach has anything to do with it....i'm sure he don't order it or anything. i was at there game last friday against south pittsburg and it got dirty when the score got out of hand. in particular, the little red-headed kid was trying to take somebody out every chance he got. he needs to stay on the bench where he belongs.

i think they got some talent on that bench but alot of inexperience is hurting them...i'm lookin for them to get better bench-wise as the season goes on...but you're right about the ball-handling...not very many, if any. they'll probably give some of the good teams in the region fits, but i'm not seeing them actually winning those games yet....but maybe....ya never know

well, i think they lost to both by about that much, but i didn't go to those games. that was south pittsburg's b-team (except for maybe one or two) that played in that tournament....not the team that's playing now.
