Any updates from the district Turney. I saw some of the scores but updates on the games, who pitched and insight would be nice. Thanks

Just wondering what the problem at York is. They seem to have a lot of talent, very nice field, nice indoor facility, and a decent feeder program. I know the Goad kid, the wright boy, and the Roysden boy were excellent playrers when they were young. I know this is a tough district, but these kids should be very competitive. How many district games have they won since the woman coach took over the program? Does anyone see them being more competitive in the future? I heard the middle school team has a lot of talent. I would love to see this program reach its potential. Not until major changes are made.

I believe this if this is the final district standings 1. MCM 2. Upperman 3. Dekalb Co 4. Smith Co 5. Cannon Co 6. Livingston 7. York York and Livingston will play Thursday with winner playing Dekalb Co. Friday. Smith Co will play Cannon Co as well with MCM and Upperman getting a bye. Good luck to all

either way York and LA will be in the play-in game next thursday

In case of a three way tie in will go to runs scored I believe to determine who's first then head to head for second and third.

Dekalb County look really good yesterday playing York. How many home runs does Puckett and Graham have on the year.

I going to have to agree with jboro. Most of the coaches do a great job and for love of the game. But, lets not pretend that all coaches do a good job.

I know that Upperman is a good team, but I not convinced that they will make it out of district other teams Piegon Forge 16-0, Goodpasture 13-2, Spring Hill 10-4

York over the last three years in district play 0-10 , 2-10 and 1-7 this year.

Mid Season standings, 1. Upperman 6 - 0 2. MCM 4 - 2 3. Dekalb 5 - 3 4. Smith Co 4 - 4 5. Cannon 4 - 4 6. York 1 - 5 7. Livingston 0 - 6 I would say that the district tournament is going to be up for graps to which every team gets hot in the second half.

I agree York's defence has been thier weakness, with a lack of timely hitting. They have tallent but have been unable to get over the hump. They have lost for so long they just don't know how to win.

Smith County won both ends of the double header against York by the same score 5 - 4

The new field is on the next street south of the high school. Not sure about the name of the street. Cannon County beat Livingston in a DH 4 to 1 and 3 to 2 York plays Smith Co in a DH today at Smith Co.

Smith County and York will make up monday's and tuesday's game with a double header at Smith County on Thursday (3-28) first game at 2 pm

Please correct the score on Thursday March 21 between York and Oneida. Oneida cancelled the game due to a make up game in thier district the game has not been re-scheduled yet. I don't know who Onieda played but it was not York. Thanks

Central beat York in the double header 15-0 and 5-2, first game was really ugly. York could not field anything, had to have at least 10 errors.

Saw on the score board that Smith County and Cannon County spilt with Smith County winning the first game 3 to 2 and Cannon Conunty taking the second game 2 to 1. Centerl and York are making there game up today with DH at Corner Stone in Baxter

Dekalb beat Clarkrange in the first game. Clarkrange is in a total rebuild with only one returning starter from last year. I haven't heard the score on the Stone Memorial game.

Puckett is one if not the top player in that region. I believe it will come down to Dekalb and Central Magnet battling it out for the top. York will be much improved but they have a long ways to go to get to the top. I would like to have a preview of all the teams in the district. Hey, Oldchsman: Is Smith County, going to have any lights at the new field this year. I was hoping York was, but now its looking like next year.

Thanks Wrigley, But I think this year things will be a l little different, but maybe I wrong, I do believe that Dekalb will be one of the teams to watch. I look for a few other teams to step it up this year. Do you know who made the all district team last year thats coming back.

It was Smith County Last year that fell one game short of the state championship game. They will have to replace their best pitcher and hitter. 2012 district 1. Smith County 2. Dekalb County 3. Murfreesboro 4. Livingston Smith County won the district turney with Livingston finished second.
