Both teams played good but it was exciting for the LA fans to see that spark back in our girls. The last two games have been more like the old LA team. I really expected Upperman to win because they have a high caliber team and congrats to them but on the other token I walked away from that game pleased with our pretty lose. LA showed they can get it done. I can't wait till the rematch.

You really need to lose the attitude with everyone because if you haven't noticed we are on the same side. The question was did Richard see the incident we were talking about (west)? I'm Blue & white all the way but I??™m not so blinded by that fact that I??™m going to point fingers at others when our players did something questionable too. I know you??™re young and passionate about ball but seriously you do need to come down a notch and think it through before you get it all over you and getting smart because I know your daddy didn't teach you to talk disrespectful to your elders like that. Back to the point,I just wanted to know if Richard saw what his player did?

King you need to come down a notch. We all know him as Richard and we know the person & the coach both but that is beside the point I don't know McWilliams but I think he is a good enough coach not to encourage that kind of play. As a coach you can't control every move your players make, you guide them and hope they do the right thing. When they step out of line you then you discipline them. So the question is did Richard see what player did last night? My point is you can't condemn him if he didn't see or know about it. If he does know I would bet my last dollar he took care of it.

Go LA!!! I wish our girls had played with that intensity all year long!!! The past doesn??™t matter now??¦keep playing like you did tonight! I know it seems crazy to be so excited about a game you lost but I??™m still excited because I saw drive in our girls eyes. I really expected Upperman to breeze through this game but our defense was dead on tonight. I have watched Upperman play twice this year & they normally play a stellar game but last night I think the inside hurt them. Can??™t wait till we play at home You weren't off by much in this game but you missed the boys game completely. I think we all did. "LA Wildcats"I know your as shocked as I am but we can't blame anyone for this game but us. Refs were bad all around (boys & girls). I'm glad Dunn is ok because that was a scary moment. I thought his legs were going to get clipped the first time he went up so high on the play before. It looked like from where I was setting that the other boy was getting into position to make a rebound & Dunn come down. Either way the Upperman boys knew what would happen when he come down. Don??™t know that the coach told him to but these kids need to realize there is more than just a ballgame at stake??¦.He could have really gotten hurt from that. Dunn has to be a tough kid to get up from that. I also saw one of our boys trip and while he was on the ground he grabbed one of the Upperman player??™s legs and roll over with him. When did LA start playing like that? It shouldn't matter what the other teams does we needs to play our game....period. I don't know if Richard saw him do that but we all did & everyone was surprised. I really missed my prediction on these two games by a lot! I was so pumped about the girls game because I just knew our boys had this one. We win as a team we lose as a team (fans included) but we as fans don't need to blame the other kids,refs,or fans for this lose. LA will regroup and come back from this...All I have to say is the Bees come to our house next time!!

They are AA not AAA. I will have to humbly agree with you about Upperman they have an outstanding team. But it is the funniest thing when these two meet it just brings something out in both teams. You will see a different Livingston tomorrow night, they will play better than they have been but I??™m afraid in the end Upperman will get the win. I just hope all the girls play top notch injury free basketball. After regular season play if Upperman goes on to the State we will be behind them but for now while our season is still playing it's Blue all the way!

Congratulations to Miss Leonard! This is a very big accomplishment for any High School player. Since she is a junior and reached 2000 does that mean her points from grade school counted? I know when she was in grade school at Red Boiling she played with the High School team. I'm sure that is better than you career game ....if you ever played.lol Melton is a great coach & he has done fine. Fulton has a heck of a team....no doubt about it. IMO....I think we just played the State Champs. LA you had a very good season but you can't win championships with the shooting percentages we had. Man...I don't know how to make this more clear....I am the one that said LA was the underdog & I love pulling for the underdog. Anything can happen in a game(UT/Memphis & UT/Vandy). I don't know how many ways I can say it.....I wasn't being defensive before. They are playing like a different team in post season....these boys have played great. I hope they keep it up. I know there will be some good games in the Boro!!

I did read the post & that's the one I replied to....you mentioning Livingston Academy is the only team in the final 8 that has not beat a final 8 team. We are the only team not to beat one of the 8...does that not make us the underdog? I was just telling you how good they have played post season....since it has been since early season play since you beat us. I do want to draw CPA cause I feel like we are playing 10 times better now..... had CPA lost you would be the same way(It's a pride thing). Why did you think I was being defensive? If you don't want an open discussion or anyone elses view....why get on here & post. You just quoted one part of my post.....did you read the whole thing? I was replying to GCPioneer when he said "I don't see Upperman or Stone Mem. having the athleticism to compete with Milan." I wanted him to know the other Miss basketball nominee left in the tourney was from Middle TN & was on Upperman. Yes, I heard of Milan & there is plenty of respect for Milan on here. I'm from LA .... I'm letting GCPioneer know the teams from Upper Cumberland have plenty of athleticism. Good luck to everyone. I have noticed that there is very little mention of Lindsay Smith in any of these replies. In my eyes, she is the MOST athletic of any of the girls on the Stone team. Don't get me wrong, Dishman, Leslie Brown (yes, she is good enough not to lump her in as one of the Browns!), Chelsea Brown, and Caitlin Sanders are all very good and athletic. Lindsay should be a D-1 player next year. She has gotten into foul trouble in the last few games, but no one can push the ball and move it like her. Also interesting that no one mentions the Eller girl....she deserves a great deal of credit for her intensity and floor smarts. The more I talk about the individuals on this team, the more I think they can win it all if they can play to their potential. Go Panthers!! Sorry, I was just trying to point out that the girls from the UC can play. I'm from Livingston & I have only watched Stone a few times....couldn't remember all names. No disrespect to any girls. We are in the same district as Upperman so I have seen my share. Stone is loaded with talent.....I witnessed that. Whoever win this game will be fine with me....they are both from the UC. Don't underestimate the two teams from Upper Cumberland.....they deserve to be there & have plenty of athleticism. Upperman has 4 girls that usually post in the double digits every game & they have Lashay Davis(junior) is a Miss Basketball nominee. That alone should tell you what athleticism they have. Stone has Dishman, Brown girls & Sanders who also post double digit most games. Just because they are not from West Tn doesn't mean they aren't talented. Upper Cumberland is represented well in the Boro this year. I respect West TN teams....I know what they are capable of but so are these teams.

Great job LA!!!!! Last night LA's gym was so loud.....the energy the fans had was unbelievable! Dunn is as always phenomenal, Ramsey was the MVP in my book.....this kid played to his ability last night! If he plays like that the rest of Post season ....he will be the difference maker, TJ Smith is solid every night...he got off to a slow start but showed up like always, T. Smith is a great ball handler, Melton showed his athleticism last night, West is a baller....this kid has so much heart! I love watching him because he is all out all the time. Coach Melton has done an exceptional job with his guys! Let's go to the Boro!!!!
