Has anything official been said about mallory quitting other than sport talk?

Wow.. been on 12 hr 3rds all week and not heard any of this was happening. I have heard that bloodsaw rumor for the several months and thought there was no way it had any truth to it. I am amazed. The one thing you can say about it is bloodsaw will never go anywhere else.

Not quite....My son has not played baseball since he was 11. And big guy. Pot calling kettle black aren't you?? If I remember correctly you were all over Allen last year too! So looks like we all can flame a few coaches until he is one of your buddies.. I will apologize for saying something about a kid however. I should not have done that and I apologize. I did not mean anything negative about Morgan. He gave it his all every game even when hurt and that is more than most would have and central may not have won a game without him.

Not arguing any of that at all. Pretty much what I was saying about qb. But carter is qb coach and qb has not showed any progress since his dad coached him. Would have been better off letting his dad coach him! I don't blame any kid for short comings o line regressed too...every position did!!

I figured we needed a place to vent for the next 8 months. Since I defended the coach early on and said give him a chance..this is my take. This summer coach Mallory and Braswell were working hard to play catch up and lay the foundation of the team. The team showed some immediate improvement. After a great scrimmage and jamboree showing then going 2-0 I think every offensive coach got satisfied. All facets of the team started showing bad habits and the playbook got smaller not bigger. Except the defense.even losing 3 starters they pretty much were stead y Sure we blew out tyner branierd and Howard....everyone did but we lost to 3 teams that were not as talented and frankly not as good. I don't think Mallory learned he actually got a little too over confident in his play calling. Talking to my son they never were really coached on offense since the summer. Sure they walked through plays but you did not see any offense line man get better .no running backs got better. No receiver blocking or wrong routes got fixed. And the qb was actually better last year not that it was his fault line backs and receivers never helped hom out much.it was same mistakes every week. I think this team greatly underacheived and should have went 9-1 or even 10-0. There is not one offense coach on our team I would keep. Terrible play callers and quite frankly pretty much unprepared every game. There it is..flame me if you want. I defended them and said give them a chance and I did 11 games worth of chances before unloading on them but seasons over so time for 8 months of second guessing.

Stats dont tell the story about this defense....what your research is not showing is red bank...one of the playoff teams, scored on a punt blocked for td a fumble return and int return and a safety..none of which the defense was on the field for. 23 points given up ... hixson as stayed above scored 6 on offense also...this was honestly our defenses worst game giving up 4 big plays. one of their backs had 130+ yards on literally 3 carries... mcminn county scored all of their points from short fields from turnovers by the offense. even east ridge who was our loss from a non play off team was a long kick return that they ended up settling on a for a fg. so yes this is why i say it is Central offense vs LA defense. the central defense will be the best defense LA has faced and Centrals defense is better than hixsons. If it were not short fields resulting from turnovers by our offense, i am not sure the defense has actually given up maybe 3 or 4 drives that have been over 50 yards all year. you might want to also note that our best running back was out the first 4 games of the year and was not totally healthy until the 6th game. I am not saying we win this game at all, but what i am saying is if central can move it enough to stay out of bad field position and not turn it over, central has a good shot at winning.

the truth about hixson central game. Central fumbled it something like 5 times and threw 2 int...one in the last 20 seconds for a pick 6 that made the score look a lot worse than it was. Central drove the field all night but found a way to fumble it often. hixson scored off turnover on the central 12 yard line once also. that all being said a lose is a lose. we had a bad game when playing hixson too! this game will be pretty much about the Central offense and the LA defense. if central can score a few and move it well enough to keep the defense out of bad field position AND not fumble it, Central will have a really good shot to win this one. i look for this game to be more like a 20-14 game.

we have a couple of key injuries on defense so you could be right about being too many weapons. our biggest problem will be if Tistheseasos comes on here at predicts a Central victory. it is the kiss of death.

Hixson was definitely the defenses worst game of the year. We are down 4 starters on defense from the beginning of the year. I don't know if we beat you guys but I dont think it will be as bad a blow out as you guys think. If our offense can move it and does not lay it on the ground we got a shot!!

You act like central does not have speed...we got plenty... making it all work together is the problem on our offense. This will possibly be the best defense Livingston has faced... We will see what happens

I think we can play with them...if we avoid giving up points while on offense and special teams and limit the turn overs we can win...

You realize we have a ton of folks out too right??? No excuses... we turned it over and beat ourselves...lots of suspect pe altys called but no sour grapes we lost.

I am going to be honest....I have not heard one player talk about any of the bad blood you guys are talking about... I may be wrong..I am only around about 5 or 6 of them in any given week. It is a huge game for sure though with a lot of implications! I just think the last thing we need our boys going in to this game with the mind set of revenge and not focused on the outcome and all it holds. Let's play this game boys and see if we can get a shot at that district title and a home playoff game!! Go Pounders!
