  1. I thought all you Greenback folks were on Coach Hicks after the Coalfield game? Coach Hicks will do fine. He will not be as lucky as Ridge. He had the QB that transferred in a couple years ago and some pretty good talent this year. I believe he knew when to get out. Not saying Greenback won't be good but I'm not sure it will be anything like you all have had for the past 2 years.
  2. I may bring him that way, you never know. Ridge is a good man and he has had some good GB teams. These last 2 teams should have went alot farther than they did but he is a good coach.
  3. I heard that Brewer really liked Ridge and was impressed by him. I also heard that Hicks (Greenback OC) put in for the job. As Chemo said if Ridge gets the job Hicks is in line for GB. I believe Ridge could be the hire.
  4. I believe coach Ridge would be a good hire for WB. I wonder if he would bring his OC with him?
  5. I have heard he has already spoken to them about the opening.
  6. That league has alot of local talent. Minga, Chase Cline, Chase Everett, Hogan Goodson, Zach Chapman, the QB from Sevier County last year. Good talent in that league
  7. DE went to Yale and Minga #4 went to University of the Cumberlands
  8. Greenback has played teams so far with with a combined record of 13-18 with only Oneida (4-1) and Cloudland (3-2) with winning records. The remaining schedule, not counting Grace, is made up of teams with a combined record of 6-10. Tri Cities Christian is just now starting varsity I believe and Harriman is 0-5. The schedule is not nearly as difficult as it was last year. I do believe this team has more depth and more size than last year but I also do not believe the competition is anywhere near what Greenback played last year. This years Grace team would not have beat last years Grace team, not even close. I do believe Grace will win but I believe it will be closer than most expect. I do not believe Greenback has played anyone that can run with there wide receivers until now. The quarterback will have to make quick decisions and run out of trouble. Can he do that? Last years quarterback could run and get himself out of a jam, I do not think this QB has had to do this so far this year. Just my 2 cents worth.
