  1. I talked to Jordan's dad. Jordan had to be evaluated for a fracture in his back/hip area. No fracture. He should be ready in a couple of games. Knowing him, he will try his best to back as soon as possible.
  2. Thanks CC.....working nights makes one's understanding a little slow...especially me. Good Luck to you and your team too. I agree..to compete in the district LC is in...they are going to have to get it together.
  3. I am a bit confused...So do you think that Hamilton is only football player that is a key player or the only football player on the team? At the Campbell County Game, 3 of the (now) starters had played football the previous Friday night and hit the hardwood on Monday for practice and then a game on Tuesday. Those 3 are Jordan Willis, Lucas Hamilton, and Jordan Hall. There are other football players that contribute, but those three start. I am sure you know it takes a few weeks for them to get their basketball legs under them from the transition. If I am not mistaken, Hamilton and Willis had key rebounds and assists, while Hall scored 20. I don't think this is too shabby for any of them for the first game.
  4. Praying for this young man, his family, and the community.
  5. I read the newspaper article in the Daily Times. I think it is great that LC has the competitive spirit in them. I agree with dcnk. Why show up if you don't expect to play your best or win? Lenoir City has really surprised alot of people this year. Maryville is a powerhouse football program, always has been. Who would have thought at the beginning of the season there would be a discussion about Maryville and LC playing each other???? Going back to the articles...I don't know why it will get ugly based on those. Those were just two articles from different points of view about the game, football players and coaches taking pride in their programs. .
