  1. How many times did #18 shake those crippled chickens the Owls have on defense? If you want to talk about people getting shook, you need to mention the Owlette defense. You don't want to talk about the upcoming season. You keep talking about the last two years like it means something. Y'aint a vury smart feller, is yuh?
  2. It'll shake things up in 6AA if John Allen or Fitzgerald get the job at Rhea.
  3. It'll shake things up if Coach Fitzgerald gets this job. I can only hope, for the sake of the entire Rhea County faithful, that John Allen doesn't matriculate his way back up to Evensville. I wouldn't wish that evil upon the good folks of Rhea County.
  4. I'm judging off what I saw when Cleveland played Rhea County and Bradley. I saw Cleveland vs. Red Bank and watched ya'll in the Jamboree too. Ya'll were solid in the middle of the year when you went on that winning streak. But Cleveland looked like a different team vs. Bradley and Rhea. I just don't know how that's possible when you're fighting for a playoff spot. Bradley was very average last year and Rhea has been down for a while. That being said, I have no doubt that Coach Crawford and the Raiders will be better than 5-5 this year.
  5. I'm not a sore loser at all. I know full well that Ooltewah is 2-0 against East Hamilton, but it's a new year. MOVE ON! Everyone else has. Join us in 2013. Until you realize that those two wins count for NOTHING, you'll continue to spin your wheels. Now go bug some Cleveland fans or maybe some McMinn fans. Or maybe some Siegel fans. Better yet, some Columbia Central fans. How bad did those loses hurt? You aren't looking at anything from a winners perspective. You lost four games last year (one to a team that didn't even make the playoffs) and you didn't win a state championship. You said yourself that beating East Hamilton was like winning a championship! You're just another team on the schedule, Owlette. Beating Ooltewah isn't any more important than beating any other team on the Canes' schedule. AGAIN, when you realize that winning last year or the year before means nothing THIS year, then you'll understand. Right now, you have your head up your hinney. PERSPECTIVE: You're not just lacking it, you have NO sense of it. Welcome to 2013, sweetheart!
  6. You're the one living in the past. Why can't you move on? When you realize that winning last year or the year before means nothing THIS year, then you'll understand. Right now, you have your head up your hinney. PERSPECTIVE: You're not just lacking it, you have NO sense of it. Welcome to 2013, sweetheart!
  7. There are a lot more chances. Get your Owl head out of your hooter and realize that the scoreboard isn't on. It's April! No one has lost anything. Everyone is 0-0. That's what you don't understand. Let me assure you, it'll come back to bite you and your Owlettes. Resting on your laurels will not serve you well in 2013. Last year is the past. You've got a whole new set of problems coming your way and they're wearing Green and Black.
  8. I'll take that as a big NO. You just don't get it, do you? It'll come back to bite you! Might want to get your head out of you rear end real quick or you're going to be in for a rude awakening.
  9. Do you even know what you're talking about at this point? You've got that Owl head stuck WAY up that hooter, don't you, little guy? 0-0 in 2013, sweetheart!
  10. You still don't see your problem. PERSPECTIVE. If you drop three in a row this year, you'll be watching the playoffs from the stands, sweetheart. You've got your Owl head stuck up your hooter.
  11. You aren't trying to see EH. You aren't ready. That's why you're talking so much. You need that ego boost. You'll see soon enough. That perspective thing I was talking about will come back to bite you.
  12. You're the one that can't answer the questions or tell the truth. I'm calling you out because you're bashing the same person that pulled your beloved Owls out of the gutter. And you continue to skirt around the truth. Think first. Then type. In that order. The way you're doing it is all wrong.
  13. So beating East Hamilton was like winning a championship? Giles County was ranked first in the state in 4A. Cleveland didn't even make the playoffs. You don't see your problem. The Owls put all their effort into one game and almost lost their way out of the playoffs. You folks down in Hooterville have no sense of perspective.
  14. You didn't answer any of the questions. You've lost to the truth numerous times. 0-3 after the last win. But I guess that's Ooltewah's greatest accomplishment, beating a 4A team twice! You're the one bashing the Canes former region, but you're bragging about beating a team from a lower classification and a weak region? Cleveland was one of the worst teams in 5AAA last year. How did you fare against them? You said yourself it's 0-0. Which is it?
  15. Direct quote from you: "No expectations from Owl Nation." Want to backtrack now? That's all you've been talking about for weeks. How Ooltewah had no media hype or D1 players, blah, blah, blah. Did you forget what you typed or do you even have a clue? You get so defensive when people call you out! Maybe you really should mind your own business and then you'll remember what you actually typed.
  16. I asked you three simple questions. Can't you answer them? Maybe you just don't like the answers! Apparently, YOU can't handle the truth. What are you scared of, Passive?
  17. I thought the Owls were an underdog? So much for that jazz! It's comical that you're happy about that preseason ranking after all the "underdog" talk you've been spewing on here.
  18. How many Gold Balls has Ooltewah won? Who brought Ooltewah out of the gutter? Who made Ooltewah relevant again? Don't worry, I'll wait for your response. You get really defensive and start backtracking when people start telling it like it is, Passive. Makes me giggle.
  19. Having gone through a situation very similar to this, the boys that stay around and continue to work will be better for it. Those are the kids you want on your team. Those are the kids every coach wants to go to battle with on Friday nights. I've met a few of the South Pitt kids through my time playing and coaching. SP always has hardworking, good kids on their team. I hope SP can find a coach that is ALL IN for that school and that community. Ross wasn't the guy. But there are plenty out there that want to continue the tradition at SP. I have the utmost respect for the South Pittsburgh football program.
  20. Only the highest expectations and goals for the Canes in 2013, but keep setting those expectations low over in Hooterville. The Owls are 0-0 against the Canes in 2013. GMFC!
  21. EH has been playing BIGBOY football for a while now. I know what W means. Do you know what W means against McMinn Co., Cleveland, Siegel? The W meant nothing in terms of playoff implications for the Owls. The L meant nothing in terms of playoff implications for the Canes. The Canes are not one dimensional or predictable whatsoever. 1,600+ yard back, 1,500 yard passer. Two 600+ yard rushers. Six 150+ yard receivers. What part of that is one-dimensional? Both of our offensive dimensions dominated the Owls defense. One (1) of your backs will be back. The Canes are returning a 600+ yard, 10 touchdown rusher. And he's just a rising junior. The Owls aren't the first coming of anything. You haven't won anything significant in years. I don't make excuses. That's your area of expertise. You came to Hurricane Hill and escaped by the slimmest of margins. No one said anyone was going to waltz through 5AAA. You're the one blowing smoke up the butts of the Owl faithful and acting like the Owls are going to be world-beaters. I haven't said anything about this years team. You're the one popping off at the mouth. The Canes know all about BIGBOY football. You have a stud QB, receivers, a big back, and good DB's. About 2-3 D1 prospects according to the Internet. The Owls are loaded! What's the problem? Welcome to the Hurricanes' district, Owlettes.
  22. I have no dog in the hunt. I'm just telling the truth. I haven't acted like Bradley was anything. I just said they're in 5AAA and EH beat them. By the way, our back went for 100+ in the first half. Sorry to burst your bubble, but your back didn't go for 100+ in 2 quarters. You're the one trying to act like Ooltewah is the second coming. The Canes can't do any worse than the Owls did against them, but keep blaming it on "home cooking". I don't see your point. Those two games meant nothing in the playoff picture for either team. I'm glad the Owls are 2-0 against the Canes. It's a new year. You will see my point come September (that's when the Canes play Ooltewah) and you can eat your crow. I have no crow to eat. You obviously don't know what the term means. You'll learn.
  23. The Owls didn't beat anyones socks off. You didn't know how to finish against Cleveland, McMinn Co. or Siegel. It's a fact that the Owl's can't stop a good back. Obviously, the Canes offensive wasn't predictable at all. The Owls defense didn't stop the Cane offense all night long. The Canes were 1-0 when they played Ooltewah. So was Ooltewah. After that game, the Canes won out. Ooltewah lost the next three. According to the media, the EH-Ooltewah game was a toss-up. Ask those kids how "easy" it was. Ooltewah played their best game of the season against the Canes. EH played their second worst game of the season against the Owls and lost by a field goal. You're still overlooking how close the game was. Those same boneheads won out. Those Owl boneheads almost lost their way out of the playoffs. One more loss in the district, the Owls would have been watching the playoffs from the stands. The W against the Canes meant too much to the Owls. That's why you dropped the next three. The Canes defense held the top team in 4A to 22 points and caused three turnovers. Giles was averaging 40+ points per game and less than 1 turnover a game. The offense floundered a bit without their top back, but that was expected against a team that hadn't given up more than 14 points all year. The backup had 100+ yards rushing and 90+ receiving against Giles. The win against us was irrelevant. It didn't count toward anything. Different year, different teams. The Canes went 1-1 against 5AAA last year. Blew out Bradley and lost to Ooltewah by a field goal. Consider it brought.
