I think if Riverdale stays healthy they could be undefeated again this year. Hard to imagine anyone beating them at their place. That is impossible. I have been to their home games and they are up by 15 before jump ball. Good luck to all the teams chasing Riverdale. So I predict the streak continues another year. Wow that is some feat.

Who thinks the Warriors will go undefeated this year? If they do that would be an incredible streak. Any predictions what the number will be when the streaks ends or predictions what year it might happen?

Anyone heard what kind of players they have picked up this year?

Who will they be? Saw the Riverdale coach in the stands yesterday after the Warriors played. He watched all the games yesterday. Scouting the new recruits. Things never change. I think they should be allowed to use the fans and cheerleaders from the schools that lost this years transfers. It's only fair since they cheered for them all their HS careers but didn't get the chance to watch them play for their school. TSSAA loves Riverdale since they are HQ'd in Mboro. You would think with all the $ being made by selling $4 Gatorades and $5 parking they could cover the windows so players could see the rim. Horrible playing conditions during the day. Peace out!

Cyclones played great today. National Champions of 11 year olds? Didn't realize they had a national championship game for 11 year olds. Where is it played at? Who is the 11 year old national champions this year?

Unfortunately the TSSAA doesn't care about site locations or advantages they may give a team with site locations. Most players would rather play away because home crowds expect too much of them. They also like quieting the home crowd by winning at their place. Home crowds tend to bark at officials more if game is not going their way, which doesn't help the teams chances with certain calls. Go and watch a game tonight if you can. Lots of great games tonight across the state.

Looks like Riverdale really doesn't have much of a challenge facing them on their way to a 2nd straight championship. It would be nice if the TSAA rotated where the championship is played each year. Knoxville and Memphis along with Nashville would make it very appealing to fans. I know having it in Murfreesboro each year gets old.

Got to love high school sports!

The Lady Ads will lose with class and look good doing it! SH and TN High will struggle against the Ads. NOT! SH was down 17-1 and 37-25 but won 66-57. Think the Ads could go to TN High and win? NOT! Just my opinion

From what I have seen this season, there have been officials out of shape and having trouble keeping up with the pace. This is embarrassing to themselves and to the game itself. Officials should be required to pass a physical fitness exam of some kind.

This season I have witnessed the worse officiating. It seems that the officials want to be responsible for ruining the game for the players. The players practice work hard to do the right things on the court. It's sad when officials don't know the game. They let players hurt each other and don't call fouls then someone does a perfect job boxing out or blocking a shot and the whistles blow almost in anticipation of what they think is going to happen. I have been to 3 JV girls games where 1 team shoots over 35 foul shots and the other team shoots less than 10. I was an official for 5 years in northern Virginia in the early 90's but had back surgery ending what I considered my favorite job. I know it's a different view from the stands but walking and changing and dragging pivot foot are missed all the time with official standing right beside player. Wish officials had to be held accountable and evaluated better instead of good old boys club of officials that think they do no wrong. Have a great night at the games.

Maybe I'm getting old and cranky but the officials at several games I have attended this season are horrible. Most refs who have very little experience influenced by crowd responses. Very late whistles blowing. They let players kill each other before they call jump ball. JV game refs are really bad. They make the game miserable. Sad to say

Can't we all just get along? High school kids that participate in sports are under pressure that can be overwhelming for most people. Friends, family, coaches, and peers expect so much them. Many of them will never play their sport at the college level. I say we applaud them for allowing us to witness their hard work in their sport. Imagine if all of a sudden kids refused to play sports. Life would go on but we would miss a lot of great times and games that so many enjoy! Merry Christmas and try to go watch a high school game during the holidays and chear for both teams

Heard Science Hill is playing Smyrna instead of Franklin co. Friday.

I got the Warriors in this one by 10. 75-65 Riverdale is at home Riverdale is defending state champs over SH. They have 2 gold balls! They reloaded with transfers. Middleton is best player in state hands down. SH is very good but Riverdale is better their record speaks for itself. 12-22 is the day these 2 collide be there!
