Well...I do like to brag...and I was once told I run like a duck! I'm not sure if it's the snowshoe affect or skates and no ice....but hey...you gotta take the compliments as they come. Have you ever caught a duck? Chances are no....they're too fast or too scary. I'd like to add Gunslinger to the mix as well....assuming he's over 40...and at 300 plus....sounds like it would be a good competition! I'd love to run behind that flowing mullet! haha Assuming I didn't die in the process...I'm thinking I could finish in the top three!!

As usual...thanks for all the great posters....knowledgeable and entertaining. Just tried to make it a little more entertaining for myself this week. Tired of the same song!....going into this game hopeful as always. Alcoa is a machine. Fun to watch. Will say a prayer for no injuries. Can't wait.

CAK is the same....13 yrs....Liberty....I have no clue....but I will give a word of advice....winning the first game....only made them hungrier....that's a secret.......these boys need to bring it to the table for real if they really think they are going to win against this program.....and yes....it's a program of winning. Winning the first game ....put your team at a disadvantage. Sorry Big Poppy for spilling the beans.....but it's about time you bully's stopping beating up on the innocent victims.....they need to be prepared. Not only glad to see BC in the house.....but glad you pointed out the obvious. "take the hockey way out"......I'm not even going to say what that means and how ignorant that statement was...but it struck me..so thanks!!......basically....she did out her self as a soccer mom.... dang....good answer...thank you. I want to applaud all the parents that have or ever had a kid on that field. It's amazing to me the rigors they go through. I'm not going to get on a soapbox...but the kids at CAK truly blow my mind. I know the academics they, and their parents have to endure....and to me, to even see them having the time to do something like this....much less compete at the level they do...is truly awe inspiring. I'm having to spend two hours a night already.....it's beyond rigorous. Kudos to all the parents and what you have gone through. As for Alcoa and others......with their detractors....it's just upsetting to see anyone try to take away from the awesomeness they have achieved. I love it all. I admire Alcoa football....Milan...and all the other programs. Much respect. (I don't even know who Liberty is....but we will lay a beat down on them if necessary!)

But here is what I am interested in knowing....numbers aside, why is this area not more of a hotbed for talent? No denying Alcoa is a machine....so is Maryville and Fulton. CAK is impressive too....but not what I would call a football school. I don't know what a football school is...but its the same schools every year....and like the commercial says...these guys are good. Are they just that well coached?...coaches getting the best out of them? Why dont we see more D1 and pros?....from any of these schools?..I truly think these kids are awesome. Its like Canadian Junior hockey leagues which are feeders to the NHL. And i realize i could just be ignorant...but the media doesnt keep us aware if they are there. I know the two at UT from CAK. Our media should help us boost the talent we have in TN....

Here is what I learned while talking with Trump last night.....he didn't really come right out and say it directly...the politician that he is....but....he said CAK will win by a point....basically on a failed two point conversion attempt by Alcoa. Plus....there is a hockey game Saturday night which would be an excellent time to enjoy free tickets and digest my steak!...and it's Princess Night!

Liberty may be....but they ain't winning this game. Buy me a steak when im right.

With all my posts....I hope it came through that I have much respect and admiration for all Alcoa/Maryville fans, people, the players and program.....I just know ya'll like takin! Johnny has my skates.....I gave them to him/his gym as a token of what hard work and dedication can do.....even a hockey player could win a a karate championship.....it's now the center of carot............"eh". Their class dojo....so in essence....you actually worship them.
