Murf. Central Magnet beat Macon Co. 3-0 tonight but it should have been 10-0 if MCM could put a shot in the net instead of right to the keeper. Macon goalie made a few nice saves but MCM must have had 15 shots on goal plus 3 more that hit the post. Macon did a good job with the offsides trap and caught them about 10 times. Macon is scrappy and never gave up but they were way out manned.

So how many state tournaments have Community, Fayetteville, Forrest, & Middle Tennessee Christian been too? I saw Fayetteville last year and they were a coed team. Middle Tennessee was a nice team but not real strong. Forrest has already been beat bad by an average WW. H. Heritage team. I've never seen Community, what have they got? White House will play a very tough non district schedule and by tournament time they will be ready.

After watching White House go to the State tournament the last 3 years and knowing the players they have returning, I'd be shocked if they loose a district game, I might even be surprised if they give up a goal.

Yesterday at Merrol Hyde Magnet School Patrick Carr signed with Cumberland and Trevor Skeith signed with Southern Indiana

I was at the game and I saw what Mack6 describes. He was called for a foul and threw the ball in disgust and got the yellow and then the ref went to the sideline and pulled the red, no second yellow shown. I wasn't completly sure that it wasn't on CPA's coach, but he never left the sidelines.

How is this district shaping up? Who is the powerhouse?

TSSAA can't read a map or don't want to put in the effort. They take Merrol Hyde out of a district with White House and Greenbrier and E. Robertson and put them in with Livingston Academy and York and replace them with Fayetteville and send Jackson County to Chattanooga. They keep saying they can't split soccer into 3 classifications, A AA and AAA because of travel. How could it be worse?

Not sure travel could be much worse than next years realignment where you have districts from Cross Plains to Fayetteville and Woodbury to Jamestown. Everyone thinks that we need to have the same number of districts for soccer that we do for football, we need to think outside the box for a solution and not look for reasons why it can't be done. The smaller A schools should not have to compete with much larger AA schools for a state championship, they would never stand for it in football.

TSSAA toyed with the idea of having 3 separate classifications for soccer, A, AA, AAA instead of the current A/AA and AAA but decided not to do anything until 2017. Just wondering what some of your opinions are on this. Some say that due to the small number of schools in class A there would be too much travel but I can't imagine that it could be any worse than next years reclassification.

White House will be loaded again this year after a trip to state last year

What would you think of splitting the district next year into 2 divisions, North/South or East/West? We have done it in 10A/AA to keep the travel down and it has worked pretty good. 10 A/AA went from Waverly to Macon County.
