We still have room for 2-3 more teams. 3. Looking forward to some good wrestling tonight! We are very lucky to have such good quality of wrestling in this area. I would expect any of the 4 teams from our region to represent us well at the State Duals. I have much respect for Soddy Daisy, but here is to hoping my Mustangs will be able to book a trip to the "Cow Palace"! Good luck & God bless all of these hard working young men!
  4. The USA/Cliff Keen Folkstyle Nationals will be taking place April 5th-7th in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I currently have 6 wrestlers going to compete and wanted to offer this opportunity to our local high school wrestlers to go compete at the National level. USA Cards are required. If any current High School wrestler is interested in going or have any questions, I can be contacted at stampedewrestlingclub@gmail.com or 423-716-7407. My goal is for the state of Tennessee to be well represented at this event & for our wrestlers to have a great experience. Andy Morris Stampede Wrestling Club
  5. Cleveland and Soddy both have had a great year. At this point in the season, I believe Cleveland has taken another step to where they want to finish the year. Soddy has shown signs of doing the same, but due to injuries, weight issues, ect. isn't quite where Cleveland is. Depending on what Soddy team shows up in Williamson County will determine how exciting the final will be. Knowing both coaching staffs, I expect the "real deal" Soddy team to show up and put on a great show for the fans, against a tough Cleveland team that is full steam ahead at this point. I think Cleveland has to be the favorite due to their consistency, but I believe we are all in for a great match. Having seen Wilson Central multiple times this seasons, I wouldn't be surprised to see them give Soddy a tough time in the semis. Haven't exactly looked at how they match up, but I think it will be a fun one. Sure would be exciting to see how things would play out with Walker Valley and Bradley in the mix...
