  1. There’s been a change and some seeding changes due to a drop out. Make sure if you entered that you go over and make sure your picks are fixed
  2. Last chance to fill out brackets. Wrestling starts tomorrow!!
  3. All brackets are in and ready for picks! Head on over and fill out your brackets. All picks will be final at the start of Session 1 on Thursday. 4. Sounds good! I’ll get it up and going in the next couple of days
  5. I put together one last year, had a good turn out. Would all be interested in another this year?
  6. Unfortunately I have a lot going on right now and haven’t had the time to finish the seeding process. If someone would like to take a few hours and seed out the rest for me, I still want to get the brackets set up..but I just don’t have the time right now to finish out the seeding. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  7. Sorry for the delay. My brother is getting married Saturday so I’ve been super busy with that on top of work! I’ll get them out as soon as I can
  8. He was very very big indeed. He was a year ahead of me and in the same region, plus my cousin wrestled at Mt. Juliet with him, so I got to watch him a lot. And while some of his hugeness may not have been natural, the “kid” was incredible to watch. He did things I had never seen a heavyweight do. I remember my freshman year we were at a tournament with them and Bob Jones, and the BJ heavy was #1 in Bama and a 2 time defending state champ. We were rolling with them before the finals and he asked what Hunters tendancys were and asked if he was a cradler. I told him he didn’t like to cradle, then Hunter cradles him and sticks him in the first. That was one angry bama boy. Little 103 lb me got the heck outta dodge!
  9. Jadoobirsingh was 2007. But definitely one of the best. His rivalry with Pipkin was must watch.
  10. I know this is strictly AAA..but man I’d pay big money to see a heavyweight Grand Prix with Kramer, Boykin, Sammy Evans, River Henry, Bruno Reagan, and Hunter Allen. Just throw those six in a round robin and I’d be set
  11. This is the one I’d add. I’d take him over Lundy. Although I will agree with WG that it is very hard to bet against Knox. Your Rippy boys should also be in the conversation

  14. Agreed. By far the most anticipated matchup. I got Palmer by about the same type of score.
  15. Agreed. It would be a hella good match.
  16. The top here is pretty easy. The middle and bottom is similar to 120 with not much to go off of head to head. So it’s strictly the eye test for me. Input more than welcome. 1. Brayden Palmer of Beech 2. Noah Horst of Baylor 3. Evan Anthony of Christian Brothers 4. Christian Morris of McCallie 5. Braxton Mann of Science Hill 6. Kodiak Cannedy of Greeneville 7. 17. This one was hard to seed based on a lack of head to head so I did my best based on the eye test. Any help would be appreciated. 1. Emory Taylor of McCallie 2. Michael Cannon of Arlington 3. Trevor Lewis of Hixson 4. Andrew Artiles of Collierville 5. Jacob Haney of Lawrence Co. 6. William Witt of Cane Ridge 7. Tyler Mckeefery of Farragut 8. Josh Parton of Pigeon Forge 9. 18. The #1 seeding criteria is head to head. Eason has wins over Braman and Bradford this year, but also losses to Braman (x2) and Holloway. So he slots in right behind those 2 and doesn’t drop further than 4. Him and Bradford wrestled once, with Calvin winning a 6-5 decision. So he stays above Jackson. Then, by virtue of that win, and Jackson’s wins over Borders and Shires, he also stays above them. So then we have Bradford, Borders, Shires at 567. Poole has 2 wins over Morrell. Poole split matches with Jackson Whitlow, the most recent being a win by pin, and Morell has a 5-4 win over Whitlow. Brennan Watkins also has a win over Morrell with no bad losses so he slots in behind Poole. Followed by Morrell and Whitlow.
  19. Thank you for posting this. These are all the reasons why this one was so hard to seed. They are all so good and so close to each other.
  20. I 100% agree. Those top 5 or 6 are a complete toss up. I only went this way because I think the top 3 have more quality wins than Daniel. I originally had Daniel 1st but couldn’t find wins that matched those of the 3 D2 guys. Other than Nix. But it sounds like you are not alone and this is what I posted the seeds for! So I can make changes if needed. Thank you for your input!
  21. Here are the seeds for 113 1. John Braman of McCallie 2. Cade Holloway of Notre Dame 3. Calvin Eason of Father Ryan 4. Daniel Uhorchuk of Signal Mountain 5. Jackson Bradford of Cleveland 6. Thomas Borders of Wilson Central 7. Samuel Shires of Rossview 8. Colton Poole of Pigeon Forge 9. Brennan Watkins of Dobyns Bennett 10. Hunter Morrell of Elizabethton 11. Kolin Koss of Bartlett 12. Glen O`daniel of Bradley Central 13. Haiden Dill of Chattanooga Central 14. Jackson Whitlow of Harpeth 15. Kade Hartine of Baylor 16. Ian Mcgehee of Memphis University 17. Ethan Rhoden of Franklin Road 18. Blake Mitchell of Fairview
  22. Now I’m my 3rd year of putting this fun little virtual tournament together, it seems to be a hit with most so here we are again! this year I’m gonna do things a wee bit different. Rather than posting each bracket seeded with my own discretion, I am using track results to decide how to seed everyone. I will be posting those seeds before hand to get any final objections. Once I have done this with all 14 weight classes (probably a few days), and have taken in any objections, I will post the final brackets and they will be open for voting. Enjoy! Starting with 106... here is how I have seeded the 18 medalists. 1. Trae McDaniel of Cleveland 2. Brayden Ivy of Morristown-Hamblen West 3. Jackson Bond of Baylor 4. Keyveon Roller of CAK 5. Ty Holland of Harpeth 6. Chris Calvin of McGavock 7. Dayne Dalrymple of Christian Brothers 8. Brooks Mcafee of Father Ryan 9. Riley Lippincott of Nolensville 10. Caleb Uhorchuk of Signal Mountain 11. Ethan Wilson of Bradley Central 12. Steven Dindl of Bartlett 13. Tyler South of Stewarts Creek 14. Josh Wallin of Greeneville 15. Trace Alexander of Battle Ground 16. Conner Leffew of Hixson 17. Gregory Gomez of Martin Luther King 18. Robert Deitch of Notre Dame
  23. For the 3rd year I will be putting together a set of virtual tournaments with all 18 medalists at each weight, for you the people to vote on and see who the wrestling community truly believes is the best of the best at each weight. Every year we’ve talked about seeding (I’ve always done the 3 state champs as top seeds, followed by the 3 runners up and so on) if someone would like to give some input on better seeding I’m all ears, but I don’t know of another way to do it without using extensive amounts of time. Edit: I will be using results from Track and then a bit of my own discretion. I will post the seeds I come up with before I finalize to give anyone a chance to correct anything.
