    Henry Co is facing off with Ridgeway in a non-region game. Hendersonville disposed of Portland to set up the region championship game in two weeks with Henry  Co. H-ville goes out of region to take on Lebanon this week. Beech can punch their ticket this week with a win over Hunters Lane. 

     

     

    If Beech wins out they’re 4-1 in region. And they beat Hville head to head so they would own the tiebreaker, so i’m not sure how HHS/HC is for a region championship.

    Editing my post....I do see something. GH fans not celebrating a supposed game winning field goal. If that kick was good, why is everyone just standing there?

    But again, what happened in the rest of the game. 

    just the simple fact that the ball goes by the post and disappears makes me believe it was good lol. idk though, this is one of those “call stands” over “confirmed” situations. too close to tell imo. 

    as far as the rest of the game, not sure what happened. GH should’ve handled them

    frame by frame, the ball clearly disappears while the post is 100% visible. There are a couple of frames where you can see part of the ball but even in those shots the post is still visible, meaning what you’re seeing is the ball sticking out on both ends as it goes through

    Just saw the end of the GH game. they got royally hosed. kicked a game winning field goal with video evidence that it was very clearly made, and the refs said no good and they ended up losing.

    yessir! the offense took some time to get going but they’re working at a high level now. and Powell has been incredible. i hope we get another shot at HC in the quarters.

    very uncharacteristic of GH. That game in a couple of weeks will be a dog fight either way.

    could say the same for Lebanon in the second. definitely didn’t look like themselves. And credit to MJ for applying the pressure and getting them in uncomfortable situations. both played one great half and one sloppy half. MJ just had all the momentum going into OT

    MJ definitely came out swinging in the second half. can’t say MJ spotted them those points. Lebanon D/ST made some big plays. they earned those points.

    they’re finally clicking. started to pick up steam in the Hville game.

    i hope so! they deserve a second act for sure. always enjoy watching this game. as i’ve said over the week, these 2 always bring out the best in each other.
