So what will the medal count be for the region?

Wow...can't make a few comments on here without getting slammed. Not the Tennessee High parent that you think I am. Good luck at state region 1...you'll need it.

Yes ... I am a fan since I met him this past summer at several different tournaments, Good character and hard worker and I do keep up the Vikings along with all of the other regions. Not a big deal.

I give all of the credit to Virgil, he was pumped and didn't back off. In all reality he was probaply the number 2 seed. DB wrestles JC 3 times and put Begley out each time at 170, avoids the head to head match up with Dean therefore getting him a number 2 seed.

This was a photo of the Spangler/English match that was on the Tennessee High Wrestling Facebook page. Just referring to the fact that the Dean pin was so quick and yet this one wasn't even called.

I had heard that Spangler had been under the weather earlier in the week, did look sluggish but came back to finish strong. If Dean's was a pin on English I don't know what this was:

I think that DB is not wrestling Dean against English in order to protect his region seeding. Why else would DB have wrestled Begley three times against English? Just a thought.

Don't know Kennedy(TH) 160 or Jones(TH) 182. Spangler(TH) is the only one I see missing from the list. Also don't know much about 195-220 other than Morelock(SH) I think he wrestled 285 last year.

Why aren't the Region 1 wrestlers that worked so hard in the off season entered in Super 32? Don't see any DB wrestlers at all, Science Hill has 3 and Tennessee High has 5 no Greeneville, no Morristown West. What's up?

They now have the results posted on the Super 32 web page under qualifying tournaments link. Josh Spangler from Tennessee High finished 4th at 182. Looking to see how Williams from ME and Boatman from Greeneville finished but they only posted the top 4 in each weight class.

I saw the Spangler kid from Tennessee High several times this summer. He looked pretty good, strong and competative. Could surprise some people who overlook Region 1

Where are these guys wrestling in the offseason? I've been to Pigeon Forge, Cleveland and Murfreesboro tournaments and the only wrestlers I've seen from Region 1 is Spangler from Tennessee High and a couple of Volunteer kids
