Really wishing Oakland was at 100% health because IF Blackman wins, the injured kicker will end up being the excuse as to why we won. Not because we were the better team, made better plays, etc. It will all come down to "well if our kicker had been healthy the outcome would've been different." So here's to a great game, one that lives up to all of our expectations, free of (further) injuries, and no frostbite! Go Blaze!

Just talked to someone at WGNS, they will not be covering this game. They are covering Riverdale vs Smyrna and updating on the Siegel game.

Just confirmed with Coach Shad that this game is NOT going to be on ESPN! I'm trying to see if WGNS is going to go down but I doubt their service will have that kind of reach. Anyone who can't make it to the game may want to start looking online to see if anyone will be streaming the game live.

I must say, this is probably the most "adult" conversation I've seen on here in a long time. Just a bunch of people calmly chatting and no one getting their panties in a bunch......it's actually quite nice! I never said that you or anyone else said he WAS a choker but based on: "only way we can get a win is if Shad will choke." you clearly stated that you thought it was possible. I was simply stating that 1. I don't think Shad would because he's a good coach. 2. It's not always about the coach. And I wasn't "jumping to the wrong conclusion" on Stork. I clearly heard (as did others) what he said and while I do very much like Stork and think what he does for all of the teams in Rutherford Co. is great, I was upset because it was surprising to hear that coming out of his mouth. And, I have since my first post, clearly stated that it was water under the bridge and have moved on......

I think it's funny that ya'll are making comments about the coach choking.....mainly because I'm pretty sure Shad knows what he's doing and secondly he can coach the boys all day long, BUT if THEY choke then the game is lost.....Coaches in general can scream, talk, beg, cry, inspire, whatever, but at the end of the day that's all they can do. Short of strapping up himself, a coach can only do so much, after that it's up to the boys to do their job.

It was a quote straight out of his mouth last night. There were about 10 of us that went to dinner after the game (drove separately) and when we all sat down his statement was the topic of conversation.....we were all shocked and surprised by the statement, but we all heard the exact same thing....it was a major topic mainly because we know he's followed Shad from Smyrna....was the last thing we expected to hear from Stork.

And, just for the record, I love the fans we have, but when you stand on our sidelines every Friday night "claiming" Blackman loyalty then turn around and bash us on the radio.....yea I have no use for you. Tired of the two faced fans.....either you're with us or against us! Period! There is no gray area here! So STOP kissing rear to Shad if you aren't L-O-Y-A-L!
