I'd be surprised. Don't see it. I want a coach that is coming to be a Rocket. One that supports all the sports and the community. One that encourages kids to play all sports. One that can't work with the assistants we have. That's who our next coach will be. We have a great foundation laid, we need a coach that's gonna keep building.

Who is the next Forrest Rocket coach? Got a great program in place from Flag all the way through high school. Community to back them up. Good bunch of kids that work hard in the weight room.

Just got the word that Coach K has accepted the Centennial job. Told the boys this morning. Good luck to him.

Never really gave it one way or another. Everyone was kind of distracted. Some jerk broke into a bunch of vehicles while the banquet was going on. He broke out some car windows and stole a bunch of things. A student caught him and got his picture and a picture of the car he was driving.

Nothing was said at the banquet. They held it Sunday because of the snow. All I know is what Bass said. I just hope he tells the boys before accepts the job. They sure think the world of him. I know mine does.

The Lions Club mafia as you call them, does not run the sports programs or controls the money! Each sport has their club that does that. All sports teams can work the tractor pull to make money if they choose to. Just like baseball and football parking cars. I remember when we didn't have squat. That tractor pull brought in money to help the school and make improvements to the facilities. The whole community pitches in and helps. When a program needs help they do what they can. Just like a few yrs ago when football had to refurbish all the helmets and the lions club doubled the amount of money from parking cars. Or building a field house (which we have outgrown) when the county chipped in a few pennies on the dollar for the cost. Also the baseball field lights that they put in. Even Helping with the upkeep of the fields! I'm grateful for how they have helped out north of the river because I was there when we didn't have squat. Won't disagree with the rest of your post. And I don't feel sorry for Cornersville at all. Their school board members voted against us getting that extra space in the new gym.

He means the 88 team that graduated in 89. We beat collinwood in the first round on a Saturday night. A two hr. Trip on Friday just to find out the game was cancelled. Lost to A very good Moore county team in the second round.

But first beat Bledsoe!

What's the need of Forrest coaches making that trip with the technology we have today. They already have a ton of film on Marion. I'd stay home, have a walk through practice with the scout team after school and start breaking down film!

Being told this game has been moved to Thursday night! Anyone know why? I'm guessing weather.

Good post Amerigha! I think that game came down to one thing. Forrest was in shape, Watertown wasn't. A in shape Watertown would be hard to handle. But it's over and done. There are 3 more games left. Don't let up! Don't get cocky! Play just as hard as you have been and everything will be just fine!

One thing that has really impressed me about the Rockets is their Heart! Every game they play hard Every play like its the first play of the game. I was walking through the players Friday night telling them good game. The first thing out of one of the seniors was "Thanks, now we have Watertown! He had barely relished his win and was looking at the next game. Forrest has a veteran line and a stable full of backs! They are not selfish and play to win. The top four backs have rushed for over 1000 yds and there isn't 100 yds difference between the four. Thing is if one goes down two can take his place. Very deep! Proud of the way these boys are playing. I know the boys get on here and read this so I'll leave them with this: Be prepared, be focused, play smart, and with heart!

Forrest can roll if they don't let up! Cascade is improving every wk. Dont let them stay around like last year. Hit them hard and fast. Win this game like you are suppose to. And remember it is Cascade and Chapel Hill playing so no one will be laying down! Rockets win. By how much depends on the guys on the feild!
