Ty has spent his summers at every exposure camp across the US. Winn spent his summers throwing a baseball across the US. Winn didn’t go to one football camp. Not saying it would have helped but it sure wouldn’t have hurt. Ty is a great football player and a fine young man. He has worked his tail off be as good as he is. I am not taking anything away from him and his accomplishments. He will do well at Bama!

Can’t believe that I am commenting on this but Winn was 4-1 against Peabody in his high school career. He beat them as a freshman, moved away for his sophomore year, went 1-1 as a junior and then 2-0 as a senior. As a senior he completed 77% of his passes. He had more tds than incompletions. I would say he was pretty accurate. I have no idea how many tds he threw against Peabody but I remember 6 in one game. He has been a tremendous role model for Ty the past 4 years.

Let me understand what you are saying. Because some posters have said Greenfield stomped GC and would do the same to Westview they are offensive and ignorant. They not mentioned any names of players or called out any individual out YET you can call out not one but two fan bases of towns and you are not offensive and ignorant. Just because the only posters praising GC are GC posters doesn’t make them ignorant. Just because you disagree with a poster doesn’t make them ignorant. GC had a good team and will always be highly competitive but to trash people you don’t know is ignorant. Now that is #thetruth.

Nobody is talking about history and tradition except the Gibson County fans. Yes GC has a lot of both but to down play how great Greenfield has been all year is a disgrace. I don't care for Greenfield but they had one of the best teams I have ever seen. No reason to be offended by people saying they would have won the state if it had been finished. GC played the best game they could play in the regional championship and still got beat 17 or 18. Absolutely nothing to be ashamed of because Greenfield monkey stomped everybody but Loretto this year. I thought Loretto would have a chance if they played again but that isn't going to happen. GC fans talk about Dresden fans but they really need to take a good long look at themselves.

Are you serious? Get the student section under control? Student sections are supposed to be out of control. Have you ever watched a Duke game? You need to take the blinders off and come down off your high horse and actually watch and listen to your own fans and I am not talking about the students. The adults tell opposing players they suck and don’t deserve to be playing against Greenfield. You always want to get on here and talk about how people act but never mention your own crowd. Lastly, Shane Sisco spends his time coaching his players and they respect and listen to him. His players act right and play the game hard and they win. I know now you are going to say just let you enjoy this team because your school is so small and it doesn’t happen very often. So enjoy it because your time is coming.

Greenfield never thought they were gonna lose tonight even though it was closer than the final score. They are on another level talent wise and mentality wise. Moore took over in the second half and carried them again. As for the first game, Gleason coach should be fired and the parents of the players should be very disappointed in their daughters for going along with him. As somebody stated earlier, Randy Frazier would never consider losing intentionally.

I am from Dresden and I do understand what a great team means to a small town. 2016 was a wonderful year for Dresden. I am only speaking my opinion as to what I see when they play. When they played Dresden, Moore threw an elbow and the official told our coach that it wasn't a foul because she didn't hit anybody. He acknowledged she threw the elbow. That is like throwing a punch but because you don't hit anybody you shouldn't get ejected. I have seen Greenfield play 7 times this year and they are fun to watch but they still get away with mugging the other team.

Greenfield plays 6 girls. They get away with grabbing, holding, pushing and elbowing like no other team I have seen. If they run into a crew that doesn't give them this ability to foul it will get interesting really quick. They are a great offensive team with a lot of weapons and they play extremely hard but they also get to foul more than other teams. You can call it great defense if you want but when it happens to Greenfield their fans stand up and go crazy. They never foul and always get fouled. Still my favorite to win it all but nobody will just roll over and give them gold ball.

So 5 players in Class A have played in the SEC in the last 33 years and you say it is not much of jump. I think the sheer number alone should be enough to show it is a major jump in talent level.

I bet Greenfield fan is looking for some rope right now. Chloe Moore is a great Class A basketball player. Probably will be Miss Basketball again but she is a Class A basketball player. You can count on one hand the number of Class A players from TN that have played in the SEC. It is a major jump in skill level. She demonstrates night in and night out she is the best player on the floor against inferior talent. She just hasn't played against the top tier talent in the country and that will or has hurt her. I am not knocking her at all because like many have said she would be my first pick if I had a Class A team. I hope she does go to Kentucky and I wish her the best in whatever she does because she has pounded Dresden for 4 years.

I think he is bipolar. One minute he is calling a team out and the next minute he is apologizing. I can’t figure him out.

Does anybody pay attention to the Greenfield fans? They are horrible. Two old ladies on front row stand up and holler at the refs the whole game. If Greenfield gets touched that are screaming foul but they can tackle somebody and then scream let them play. Which one do you want? Quit talking about other fans when y’all are atrocious as somebody called Dresden fans.

The regular season means nothing. If Greenfield goes undefeated great for them and if they lose a game it will be ok. They have more talent than any single a school in the state and everybody’s pick to win the state championship except for Loretto fans. But nobody is just going to roll over and hand them the trophy, refer back to last year if you think I am wrong.

He is a good guy that loves his team. All the post I have read of yours shows you love you some GC girls basketball. Nothing wrong with any of that and it is ok to get upset and speak your mind on here. I just never have understood why people get upset when somebody does say what they are really thinking. Now I will say this. If GC doesn’t beat Dresden on Tuesday they will definitely have a lot of improvement to do because Dresden is not very good. Since this thread is Greenfield lady jackets I will get back on that point. They are very good and anything less than a state championship will be heartbreaking for them. That in itself can be way too much pressure even on a very experienced team like them.

Help me understand. In one post you say let Greenfield fans enjoy this team and leave them alone BUT in another post you say how bad Westview is going to kill GC, who is the defending state champ by the way. Another poster says he saw some not passing to an open player. You tell them don’t go there. So it is ok for you to state your opinion but if somebody else does you get all upset. Coacht is about fans interacting with each other and that includes trash talking but people get upset and their feelings get hurt when some posters state their opinion.

People on here talk about the transfer being a legit transfer. There is more to being an eligible transfer than just a bona fide change of address. I guarantee you that Greenfield hasn’t contacted the tssaa and if they have they didn’t give them all the facts. According to the tssaa recruiting is illegal. Although hard to prove, does anybody know the transfer’s aau coach? The tssaa also says a player can’t transfer solely for athletic purposes. Did they move because Greenfield has better academics? I don’t think so. I don’t think the tssaa has a clue that she transferred and they probably don’t care but if they ever get involved it could get very interesting for Greenfield girls basketball.

I know why he isn't answering the question directly and respect him for that. He is being the bigger person here because he doesn't want to criticize anybody at Dresden. My comment about playing somewhere else would simply be to have a chance to win a championship though. Right now Greenfield is that place. I have not been trying to bash a family for that because I would do the same thing. But I would have said that in the beginning.

I really don’t know that answer but it really doesn’t matter. They didn’t need a reason for the young lady to transfer nor do they have to justify it to anybody. If I had a daughter playing basketball I would want her to play for Greenfield or Gibson County also. I sincerely apologize if I have offended anyone.

I wasn’t the first to mention they were chasing a ring. The fact is she committed to Union before she had played one minute for Greenfield so to say that she wouldn’t have the opportunity to play at the next level by playing for Dresden is crazy. She is going to play for Union because of her performance at Dresden. Now, if they didn’t like the coach, the people, etc just say it. You getting on here saying Dresden is a clique town I say show me a town that doesn’t have cliques.

They rented a house in Dresden and now renting a house in Greenfield. The comment about playing at next level not being possible at Dresden is crazy. Yes they are ring chasing.

If they get the money right, he will be the next Westview coach.
