Just like us to schedule all these crap teams at the beginning of the year so we don't look to awful. We have to get that Win column buzzing right? I'd much rather schedule teams that prepare us for our district games not some homeschool team from Chattanooga. I hope we don't get to slaughtered in the district. This scheduleing makes my blood boil. Feel like our players deserve more than this, just saying.

You should have the athletes with a county that big. It's just getting them to come play. I know in DeKalb Jr. Pro for like 7 years in a row one of our teams never even got scored on and then half of those didn't even play in middle school and high school. So it even effects our small county.

Trousdale is always going to have a solid team, no matter the year. Year in and out I think White County is a lot better than Cumberland County.

I think it was a UT camp, with a W&M scouting there and yea I think Gill did a lot of self advertising to get his college looks. I know he went to a ton of camps across the Eastern United states. Hitting all the ones he was invited to. He was Invited to Princeton, Penn and Dartmouth of the Ivy League schools and went. Phillips went and played ball at Stetson thats a 8-AA in Florida but quit or kicked off for reasons I don't know about and I don't know that story LOL. He supposedly is playing for Tech now, I don't know if that is confirmed either.

I feel Linder getting a lot of carriers and a lot of touchdowns 35-21 LA, bring it home for 8-AA!

I'm feeling Tigers keep it close in a really close one fought to the end and pull the big upset 24-21

From my son talking about it last year to him he got a lot of interest from the Ivy League schools, and D1-AA like W&M, SC State, Towson, EKU. He supposedly had a whole box full of signed letters from Georgia Tech and some smaller ACC schools and MTSU. Said the number one school to ever talk to him was William and Mary his sophmore year at a Camp. Him and Sonni Fuliluv have been our most recruited players in recent history by my understanding. I also heard the thing about his heart that Iceman talked about, he supposedly found out after his senior year ended.

We only had 3 seniors last year LOL I'm picking the Dragons just because of how I seen Upperman play us. As many others have stated I feel like York is much more disciplined. 28-14 York

I'd say the best Defenseive team would be 2 years ago, Ely and Puckett on the ends with Linder and Gill in the middle, Run a 4-3 and you have solid linebackers everywhere. The secondary Im not sure on but just that D-line would keep every offensive line up late at night in the state.

From what I've heard from players that went and seen him last night at the Hospital said it was a clean ankle break.

I didn't mean to come off like that about York he was an amazing athlete and as far as play speaking for itself as far as the next level. As I understand it Gill has always been heavily recruited by D2 and small D1 schools but decided to just go for school. I also heard they found something out about his heart, but I don't have that full story.

The run plays in your highlights are 1:45 looks like a 27 sweep, 2:35 double reverse, 3:10 quarterback bootleg left, 4:07 like a 28 power possibly, 4:15 run wide left, 4:20 you can see a blatant double team tackle of Gill thats pretty funny because the back judge is just watching and doesn't throw the flag,4:46 you got a run wide right, 4:50 York does some amazing stuff like a left bootleg, 5:00 is the only truly up the middle run and you got 14 yards. Now York is really an amazing athlete and nobody can take that from him. but now on to Gill you guys doubled him every play and always ran to the opposite side he was lined up on, Upperman even showed him a lot of respect in that since and even you UCM have to see that. Thats coming from your video LOL. Milan in a lot of those breaks 2 or 3 tackles running for his life and just gets overwhelmed eventually. York and Ely were very special players the same for Milan and Gill.

I see some major flaws in your downgrading in our players from last year. If Milan was in a running based team he would be playing at a solid D1 school because of his size and the breakout power he had. As long as he kept in-line of course and healthy. The guy would get 10 carries for like 150 yards a game. York got his stats by the coaching staff leaving them in late in games when they were destroying people and prime example is our game for a matter of fact. He was playing while y'all were up by 40. Also who did you play? York wouldn't be as effective at a big 6A school say in the Mufreesboro district were Milan would have been just as good. Secondly Gill was a starter since his freshman year. As everyone knows how dominant he was on whatever side he was lined up on and I'm not talking about a pass rusher. Ask any fan of a team we played last year his named was called 10 to 15 times a game. Trousdale completely abandoned there dive game in the wing T thanks to him killing them in the backfield every time in the first half for the rest of the game. Smith fans, Warren fans, Livingston fans, York fans, everyone knew it was going to be heck to run it up the middle. The same as we knew Jalen Manning was going to be heck to stop on the edge or Eldridge wasn't going to be covered deep, and the same way we knew that York was going to pull off some crazy magician plays that there wasn't going to be an answer for because Conner York was that good against our district.You guys didn't even run it in the middle against us, Gill still had tackle for loses but your edge run game and passing game was so great you could take him out of the equation. Not to mention I don't even think our defense keeps stats to send in to anyone, its all just personal use. Id say he had over 200 tackles over the last 2 years and over 40 tackles for loss. Im sorry this is so long but I can't stand someone degrading other players based on bias for your own team. Other teams in our District know how great of players they were and would back me up the same as I would for Jalen Manning, Wade Eldridge and Linder, York and Ely.
