Not upset Max I'm just saying give these guys a chance. We haven't even started. I'll call it the way I see it. After week 1 Believe me if it's bad I'll be one of the first to say. But these kids read all this and it gets in there head. I know people don't like Coach Walt, I have been frustrated and questioned things many times. But for now He is the coach and we need to support him. It's the last year for my family as a Bobcat and I just want to enjoy it. If it's a bad year, so be it, in the end it's just a game. I have friends at Marshal, Lawrence and surrounding counties and wish all of them the best of luck. Just support these kids and team. That's all I'm saying. Have a good day

1610 your right that group of boys looked good and had some fire. But Still they played the Freshman group. The problem with the first game was the Oline did create the holes but the recovers and some of the Running backs did hit the openings. If you have access to the film go back and watch it. Its there. Give these guys a chance before we wanna throw the towel in. Go Bobcats

I'd never get upset max. I just want them to play ball as a team. Most of that line has started since Sophmore year. Lots of experience. However, folks call it the way they see it. Welcome back JD was wondering when you would pop up. Play time Dan has kept things hoppin. GC varsity takes Forrest Varsity in their first quarter of play in Jambiree. JV plays Spring Hill in the next Qtr. You are right Forrest is a solid Club. We have an experienced O-line with and in experienced quarterback. Defense seems to be okay. We shall see. GC I think the new coach has added some fire. The kids seem to be playing more as a unit. A lot better playing as a team than last year. I think we will see a difference in the play calling. The new coach seems to be OCD on perfection and wants the QBs to do it right. So time will tell.

Good grief it has started. The TSSAA sanctions are true. As far as Giles goes we had a good scrimmage last night. The boys really worked well and played as a team. O-line looked solid. Defense did well with two players not playing out with injury. This group is more of a team than individuals. May not have the talent of years past but they work together and seem to support one another. Seem to be very aggressive. Still early and I personally don't buy into all the 7 on 7 hype. Hard to read what a team will look like just from that. As far as Marshal goes. Hey I wish them well. Wallace is a good kid and that's the path they chose. Coach O will teach him well, but in the end I think Giles will have the better end of the deal with the other Freshman. Coach Flipo has already worked wonders with this kid. He may end up being faster and smarter than the Marshal Freshman Phenom. It's Football Time' good luck to all.

Gonna have to call u on this one MSFB. A couple of us on here have been around a lot of the Richland kids in some form or fashion. I would say several of us are glad things are going in the right direction for RHS. The experience gained this year by those Freshmen and Sophmores will continue. I think Quinton Jordon, Hollis Helton, and the Briggs kid will show leadership next year. So I do wish RHS Football the best. I support Giles County Sports but I'm a Bobcat for life!

Still fishing I guess. Heard Marshall was having the same problem. Both teams may have to go way north or east. No body wants to play.

I've been told the RHS speed school is open to who ever wants to work. ( all kids) They ask each kid bring 1 or 2 dollars a session. K. Dawson teaching the session with Coach Moos & Staff present. Coach said starts Dec. 1 and he would continue speed school as long as he had kids wanting to work. Before anyone jumps, this info I obtained from a third party parent who attended Ricland breakfast. Also was told after dead period Coach Walt plans to get speed school started back at GCHS. No idea on when. 52 follow the numbers. Our strength of schedule is 4 th in the state 4a at 64%. Spring hill was like 57%. Cascade and Page 55%. MC was 51%. Heck Greenville, Fulton, Pearl Cohn are in the 40 % range. The only team in the east that had 60% was Knox Catholic. To me the harder schedule makes us better in the long run. Just my thoughts.

A win is a win. Both sides played with pure emotion. Looking at the scores and bracket.....that probably was the best game in the state.

JD glad to see you back in Full Swing! Keep up the color commentary, you apparently were a good luck charm last week. So keep the comments coming, just helps the Bobcats.
