LOL this is funny have any of ya'll watch them play? Van Buren can shot the three very well and they also have big guys at the post. They have great help defense. I believe they will finsh near the top of there district.

Well Hermitage Springs has always played bigger teams than them so i don't think the hieght thing will be a huge factor. I know it will be a factor i just don't think it will decide the game. The other night against merrol hyde H.S. did turn the ball over to many times. I dunno if they were trying to show off or what. They did keep the turnovers under 20 though unlike last year in which they averaged 20+.

Well ok H.S. didn't schedule merrol hyde just for an easy victory. They didn't know if they were going to be good or not so i dunno what your talking about.

Well the guy from merrol hyde was taller than 6'4. Timothy (who plays for H.S.) is 6'4 and 3/4 and the guy from merrol hyde was a good 2 inches taller than him. So no he wasn't 6'9 or 6'4. I'm pretty sure van buren will be a very tough team they always r. They always have size. I believe it will be a very good game. I can't wait to see how it ends.

Yea H.S. had trouble winning away games last year. I hope they can win them this year though. If they do they should have a pretty decent season. One of there best in awhile. So when is everyone's first game?

Well H.S. only has one scrimmage left and its at cumberland co. Ky. so you don't have to worry about the refs at H.S.

Ok well i believe district 7a is a very tough district. I think Celina will take 1st easily but the 2-7 spot i think is up for grabs. I think all the other teams have a shot for one of these spots. Its all depends on how bad they want it and how hard they are willing to play for it.

Ok it was a scrimmage but i like it H.S. won since everyone was saying that they were going to get beat by as many as westmoreland wanted to beat them by. I believe both teams could of played better and i hope they play again in the regular season.

I know scrimmage's don't matter, but tonight H.S. showed alot of heart and determination that they was going to be good tonight. Hermitage Springs beat Westmoreland in OT (54-48). I have seen alot of people saying they was going to get beat 80-40 or w/e. I also heard that people was saying they was going to beat H.S. by however many they wanted. Hermitage Springs is playing very well under their new coach, and I think they will be top 3 in the district this year if they play like they did tonight. Hermitage Springs beats Westmoreland in Overtime 54-48!

I believe it will be a good scrimmage. I think celina will win by alot but i think macon co will learn alot from this game.

This is just personal opinions, so let me know. (1) Clay County - Obvious choice with the lineup coming back (2/3) Jackson County - With everyone returning, they should have a good year. (2/3) Hermitage Springs - Also everyone returning, and with other teams loseing alot of players they have a good chance. Also with the new coach "actually" teaching the game should be a big suprise to the district, and with Jackson only beating H.S. @ Jackson county by only 6. I look for H.S. to be very good with the new coach. (4) Clarkrange - With Laws and Snow returning from last year should be a tossup between them and Pickett for fourth. (5) Pickett County - Alot of young talent in Jacob Wright and T.C. Capps but I heard rumors they wasn't doing that good this year. Give them a couple years and they should be strong. (6) Red Boiling Springs - They are near the bottom of the list simply because they lost their 2 best players last year in Heady, and Meador. Also with White in the trouble he has been in will hurt. But look for Jones and company to make some noise. (7) Monteray - Monteray is last on my list because they lost some really good talent in Walker and Cook 2 of their main scorers. So look for them to be down this year comming into the district tourny in last place. This is all based on opinions, and I know someone is prolly going to say I am stupid for making the seeds this way.

smallin are you going to come to the game? Because I think you are going to be in for a big suprise, because I think H.S. will come away with a win. If not a win, a very close game. All in all they won't have their way with H.S.

I think Russell and Smith done most of the scoreing. Russell hit 2 straight three's ending wit 10 points. Jimmy Campbell had alot of offensive rebounds and put backs. So he had alot of points aswell. This year H.S. looks alot stronger on defense and rebounding/blocking out.

Okay all i know is that westmoreland only had one post player and thats the left handed kid. he hurt H.S at camp. I think thats y your saying all that. I want you to know that timothy wasn't there. He's the big man for h.s. So really i think it will be a good game. H.S. will have to play very hard to win though. There going to have to play better d and run there offense better than what they did against smith co if they want to win.

sorry i psted this 2 times. Well smith county was kicking butt at the end of the 1st 16-8. At the half it was closer with the score 21-19. The final was like 44-37./ H.S. had plenty of chances to come back in the game but they just keep turning it over. They would hit a few 3s then t/o. They have alot of work ahead of them. I heard there coach was pleased. He said he knows what they have to work on. There also thinking about playing them again this later in the season.

Well i thought it was a good game but H.S. could of done alot better. For them to be as good as what they want to be they're going to have to work harder. So does anyone have any comments about this????????
