LOL. You said the Better Coached thing about the FC @ Tullahoma game too. FC won 33-7. So where was the better coaches? At this point I have to lean more toward the talent and I think FC has a little more talent than LC this year. Just my opinion. Guess we will see Friday night. Don't know if you’re from FC or live in FC but if either, I can understand that you dislike Coach Smith and his staff but what I cannot understand is if your ether from or live in FC you seem to give no support for the players at all.

Who wins this one? I think FC will get First region win Friday night. what's your thoughts?

I might be Delusional again this week but I say no way Tullahoma beats FC. I say FC wins by 14 points or more. Just my delusional opinion.

I only see 1 opponent that might keep the game close in Marshall Countys schedule and that is next friday.If This MC team can stay healthy most likely they will be playing in the state Championship in 4a. from what I seen they can beat most 5a and 6a teams.Very nice team.

New principal,vice principal,and athletic director. for the past 6 years maybe even longer student athletes were not allowed to take a weight lifting class as an elective under the old director of schools.the new director of schools took over in 2015 and in her 1st year student athletes were allowed to take weight lifting for a elective.to me that alone will help all sports at FC. maybe with the new changes in the administration sports will have its needed support. only time will tell.

Call me delusional or what ever you want but someone has to believe in these young men and the coaching staff. In the next few years I will remain optimistic about the new mentality and direction that the players, coaches, and the new administration have. If I can figure out how to change my user name I will change it to delusional.so thanks for the new name rampage.

Look in the past FC sports had very little support from the school administration. this is the first full year that changes have been made to allow for a better program for all sports so I would say that Coach Smith's first year his hands were tied just my opinion. I still say he needs at lest 3 more years to prove his worth now that those changes have been made by the new and reorganized administration.

I just want to say that in my posts I mean no criticism to Coach Smith I support what he is doing at FC 100%. I just have a great deal of concern if any of the Athletic programs at FC get the support from the administration that they need. From what I hear the administration does not. Thanks coach Smith for the info on the players sounds like the kids are working very hard in the weight room. Go Rebels!!!!

You are right Mac would have been the best for the head football coach job but the administration cringed at the fact that anyone would even bring up his name. The administration don't want someone that would do what it takes to win they want someone that they feel they can force to do what they want them to do. Coach Smith is a great guy and cares a great deal about all the kids at FC in my opinion, heck he is head coaching the soccer team because if soccer didn't have a coach then they would have had no soccer team. now he cant just focus on football he has to juggle both with a understaffed football program. so in my opinion I believe the administration is at fault and have been for years.

Yes because FC needed a change, but I am convinced that no matter who they would have hired would not be allowed to do what needs to be done to make FC rise to the top. The administration ( principal, AD) at FC does not support any of the athletics at FC all they want to do is dictate what everyone does and if anyone disagrees with them then they get rid of them any way possible. until the administration are replaced or have a change of heart FC will sink farther. Its not only effecting athletics it is effecting the school in its entirety.

The word is that Franklin Co South got a new head coach. does anyone know if this is true?

I agree that the main problem comes from the Principal and AD and I also agree they need to be replaced asap. What upcoming QB is transferring?

At the end of the 2015 regular season FC's strength of schedule is 6th over all in 5a and last year it was 51st so I would say that makes some difference. I will say FC didn't have a better season but they did do just as well as last season did with a 4 year head coach. Got to give new head coach time and support to make the changes he needs to make FC be a contender.

If anyone takes video of the first play at the Coffee County vs Siegel game please post it on here or youtube I would like to see what they have come up with sure it will be heartfelt. Prayers for Baylor from the Marshall family.

WE are coaches, WE are mentors, WE are father figures, WE help raise others children, WE are their support, WE spend more time with them in a day than their own families, WE are their shoulder to cry on, WE are their support win or lose, WE teach them life lessons. WE are High School head coaches. People often ask why I left college football for High School football, the answers are listed abov...e. People ask why leave a successful FL program for an 0-10 Coffee County team (TN)? My answer is simple! Because when you care for the kids and they are the 1st priority the above mentioned sums it up! I believe in and have witnessed that's what our administration is about in Coffee County! No agendas, no "this will make me look bad or cost me popularity" from the admin, where wins meant more than the things off the field. A place that just wants their kids cared for and a coach and his staffs #1 goal and only focus is for the well being of the kids they coach. Tonight a Siegel community, team, and family and their thoughts are on a child fighting for his life, NOT a football game vs us tomorrow night! Siegel is blessed to have a person like Coach Wyant because he shares my same philosophy as a Head Coach! He is a BLESSING to Siegel HS! After speaking on the phone yet again tonight, neither of us care who wins the game but we both agree, who cares????.....our kids come 1st NO MATTER WHAT!!! Cannot even begin to tell you how refreshing that is! I beg you if you are attending our game vs Siegel tomorrow night whether you are a Siegel or Coffee County fan......don't miss the 1st play!!!!
