I agree that it will take some time, but even with the new coach and scheme I do believe that FC's offense will be more productive then in the past couple of years which means being less predictable and more balanced. FC only put the ball in the air 67 times last season. this season I say they double or more that. just my opinion. From what I have seen in scrimmages and jamboree FC may struggle a little on defense. Marshall Co. is a tough team to start out the season playing but if FC's defensive backs keep it together I think it will be a more close game than people think at the end of 4 quarters.

Shelbyville 35 Lawrence Co. 14

Ooltewah beats Riverdale
Warren County beats DeKalb in a close one.
Lavernge man handles Smyrna
Hoover beats Oakland in a close one.
Ravenwood beats Siegel
Coffee County beats Tullahoma and brings the Coffee Pot to Manchester.
Cookeville big win over Upperman.
I agree if you are going by what the teams have done in the past couple of years, but you never really know what will happen till the last second runs off the clock. yes this board is for us to talk about our teams that is what makes it fun to agree and disagree. I mean no disrespect for any team or fans. Its all in good fun.
I would love to see Coffee County beat Walker Valley but I don't think that will happen. Coffee County has a good chance of a 3-7 record this season with wins over Tullahoma, Pope John Paul, and Warren County.
FC threw only 67 passes all last season. with the new head coach it seems FC will be throwing a lot more. so I believe FC will throw the ball down field more than 100 times and be more productive in the air; and with all the talented backs FC has they will be a much improved team and more difficult to beat. FC beat LC last season and only threw 4 passes down field.
Franklin County has a scrimmage vs Father Ryan and Cookeville @ Cookeville on Friday July 31st 2015.
Saturday August 15th at 8:30pm eastern time Franklin County vs Ooltewah at the 2015 Chick-Fil-A Chattanooga Jamboree at Finley Stadium.
FreeAgent11 I have to agree with the last playoff spot being a dog fight. FC has a good chance to be the top dog in that fight ; with the new head coach and his offensive scheme opposing teams wont be able to just load the box all game long like they have in the past few years. I think FC will have a way more productive air attack this season. that alone will open up the run game more for those talented backs.
Is this Tournament going to be played Saturday with the temps being in the upper 90's and heat index being around 105? If so what time does it start? I would like to go check it out is why I ask.
I hope they do. The head coach for the Trojans said last season that out of the few years that he has coached at south he never once had the FC coaching staff come talk to him about running the same system.
