  1. This is going to be a flat out defensive game and I do not think either team will put 20 on the board. I think the difference for this game is going to be ball control and the kicking game, which I feel HC will have the advantage. 13-10 HC
  2. We played in the same bad weather on a muddy cow pasture in Clarksville and it didn't slow HC's offense.
  3. I know everything you read on the Internet can't be trusted but what I saw on the Coach T app is Rossview only beat Dickson County 12-7? Was that a misprint? If Rossview can only score 12 on DC, how will they ever put up more points than all of Henry's previous opponents combined? Has Rossview been sand-bagging?
  4. I do think the HC defense has a hunger they have not had in a long time. These young men have a strong belief in themselves. However, Rossview is no push-over team. Another shut-out is possible but I expect a passing attack from a well respected QB in Rossview. My early prediction is 30-7 HC but I would like to hear more from the Rossview faithful.
  5. You know how easy they were to cramp.
  6. Now you know he wasn't taking a dive. He was trying to keep his best players healthy for the match-up against HC.
  7. Liberty only scored 20 against HC. Houston scored 20 with 450+ yards passing and the next three have scored 0. In 5 games HC's D has allowed less than 300 yards rushing. Do you really think Clarksville can put 21 on the board? I see it at 30-14 HC.
  8. 47 got a good report yesterday and should be back in action this Friday.
  9. Also, the twins, 30 and 35 stepped up in a big way and probably had their best game of the year.
  10. Does anyone know if the -40 yards rushing for Houston a new record for HC? I remember last it was talked of consecutive record breaks at -23 & -24.
  11. There is a lot of work to do, but I knows these boys and the coaches. The talent is there and it can be done. The D is still looking pretty good. The secondary needs some improvement and the O line needs to be blocking better. I believe if those two things are corrected we will be pretty good. This is going to be a good game with Houston and I am looking forward to the match-up and seeing how both teams bounce back after their losses.
  12. Great post and you are spot on with everything except the comparison between 47 and 14. Not even close and the stats should be able to confirm. 47 is better
  13. I was just thinking that Crusader Cool-aid must be really good. Their clouds are probably marsh mellows and their trees are lollipops because is sounds like a fantasy land there. This is going to be a really good game and I expect to know exactly what we have with HC after this match-up. I guess if they do have a running back that will rush for 200 yards they might win, but I think a strong rushing game is a tall order against this D. I was also very impressed with the O after last Friday.
  14. And so it begins! After the last couple of weeks of practice and scrimmages, there is much excitement in the air around Henry County. There is no doubt that Liberty will come to play and they always have lots of atheletes on the field at any given time. As for them being able to run on this HC Defense, that is a tall order. I think most teams will have a hard time running against us. I am very happy to see the improvements on O through the past couple of weeks. Friday night was impressive. Look forward to a fun time at Patriot Stadium Friday night!!! Go Big RED!!!
