Davidson looks like the team to beat in D2-1A West. Any news on CA vs Zion, and I heard the game was moved to APSU. Nice atmosphere for the kids being in a college stadium. Thoughts on this game or how the newly renovated Cougars will handle Division II ? (Not a CA person, just curious about the private clarksville team)

and Honestly I just hope the West represents well.... we always always seem to be the Underdogs and nothing would make me happier to knock off a East team one more time.

Okay, I was unaware. Never said Wayne wasnt a good program. Between all the teams I had ever played when I was a student there, Wayne County and Jo Burns were ALWAYS the powerhouse teams and put up great fights with incredible athletes for 1A schools. Im just interested to see when the playoffs come around who will hit their "peek". We all know some of these "season powerhouses" get beat in the playoffs because a 6-4 team will catch fire around week 9 or 10 and carry that into the playoffs. Who know what could happen, as a graduate of CA im just excited to see the games and hoping Clarksville Academy and Wayne County get to play again this year. That would be great.

Columbia Academy, Wayne County, NCS, Clarksville and many others have very important and very interesting matchups. Any predicitions?

They played them the year they won state, that was it.... and that CA was 10-1 going in and was only down 21-20 at halftime... if not for the 4 picks in the second half CA very much could of stayed in that game down to the final seconds.

never said they were powderpuff games in the sense that CA is overlooking the next two opponents.... however lets be real.. if CA loses to either of the next two opponents NCS will have NO PROBLEM rolling them. If they cant beat a 0-6 team dont expect to beat a 6-0.

How is CA not mentioned with a 5-2 record yet others at 3-3?? Half the teams schedule is weak, it all shows when the playoff time rolls around.

Just remember the other CA has beat Columbia Academy every single year in the pre-season and is on the rise (not lost since week one). Clarksville Academy could end up facing the other CA in the playoffs and will be by far better and more competitive

They play the 0-6 Cheatham Cubs Friday, then the 1-5 Houston County Irish for senior night before a last game of season showdown with Nashville Christian. We all know Nashville Christian is one of the best in state if not the best.... besides the next two powderpuff games.. how do you think CA will play against the Powerhouse NCS? Can they play with them and keep the score within 2 TDs?
