  1. No question Camden is best team we've faced thus far. With that said who have you played that's as good as us?
  2. Thanks for posting! As a Fairview fan all I can say at this point is yikes!! There are 4 teams in District 11AA in quad 4 and we're in quad 3. I'm assuming because of geography but is there any scenario where Fairview goes to quad 4?
  3. Now now LCP. That was a poke at Wiseoldmangiles hence the smiley. Do I need to loan you a turtleneck? I wasn't joking about CC though. They would have mercy ruled Lewis last year. Probably not this years Lewis team it don't sound like.
  4. I'll say this about CC, Wiseoldmangiles wouldn't have wanted any of 'em. Not even with Bo Wallace under center! I was shocked that CPA beat CC last year. That showed me what 3A championship football is all about. In my opinion we all have a long way to go.
  5. Your opinion is respected by me as well Beagle. You seem like you call a spade a spade and I like that. I respect Camden a whole lot too. Having said that we had 12 pass attempts against Camden. So you guys didn't see but a flicker of Fairview's offense. I expect the playbook to get opened up this week. We'll see.
  6. You're well aware of who. Just stating a fact. We haven't faced anyone as explosive as Loretto though.
  7. Point noted. I'll counter with Fairview's starting D has allowed 20pts all season including last night. They're stingy. No doubt they're in for the toughest test so far at Hohenwald.
  8. Ok. I'll throw the first jab. Lol Fairview's defense wins this game.
  9. They actually lost 39-25 last night but no doubt they'll be giving us fits before long. I'd like to hear some feedback from this game. I wonder if Creek wood returned some key players from injury last night possibly? I felt pretty sure the Rebels would pull that one out based on the way each team played Fairview. I suspect Creek Wood had a team that more closely resembled the one that beat Dickson Co in week zero.
  10. Proud of the jackets for another game with minimal mistakes. They gave up one big play to a team that's swinging for the fence every down. East puts way too much pressure on "Air Hick". That kid can play ball but they are in desperate need of a running game. I don't know if they do it every week or not but its mind boggling to me that 45 is lined up as a receiver 90% of the time instead of in the backfield taking handoffs. Either way it was a good effort by both teams and the closest thing to a game we've had since Camden came to town in week 1.
  11. Come on out and see us. Gonna be packed house with homecoming and east Hickman being just down the road. I wanted to go to y'all's game last night but decided to travel to Hohenwald to watch my little cousin in the Fairview vs Lewis Co freshman game. Congrats on the victory over Milan!
  12. Hickman County comes in with fewest points allowed of all teams in 11AA only allowing 6 ppg. Lewis is giving up 15 per game. I predict Lewis will maintain their average or improve on it and no way Hickman holds Lewis to 6 points. Lewis 35 Hickman Co. 14
  13. Granted. East has played higher quality opponents than Fairview. Interesting match up to those of us who realize what East is capable of if they ball for 4 quarters. (which they've yet to do this season as far as I can tell)
  14. East Hickman is giving up a little over 33 points a game. (44 per prior to shutting out HC last week) Fairview is giving up 9 points per game. (Starting D is giving up about 2 points per game) I say if East is gonna upset Fairview, they better get a better game plan on defense.
  15. I've not decided if they're better but I'd dang sure wager they would beat last years team if they played em! These boys are crisp and look they've been doing some serious practicing. No doubt they're hitting on all cylinders. Hope they keep it up.
  16. Speaking of rumors. I'm hearing reports there may have been a meth lab upwind of HC's sideline last Friday night. Is there any truth to this?
  17. I wondered the same thing. I don't want to point fingers either. I just know they had a huge squad and plenty of size.
  18. CAK is 2-3 vs a 14-7 opposing record. Huge difference between East Nashville's opponents. They're also reigning state champs. I'm sold on East Nashville too but their record would be as bad as CAK's if they were playing those teams in my opinion.
  19. That should get this thread rocking into Friday night! Lol
  20. Yes he did. He got up once that really surprised me. I'm sure you remember that one. SC just seem to play with more spirit. Probably because they were at home.
  21. I've noticed. That whole 13AA district seems to have a surprise every week. Westview may very well be establishing themselves as the leader. Just seems so odd to see Milan down in the middle of the pack. I've got a suspicion we haven't heard the last of them this year though. They've got an uphill climb but if anyone can do it, they can.
