The game started out with Herritage up 14-0 and AC looking real bad, but then the Freshman QB came In and gave them a spark and AC went on like a 40-0 run. Had he started the game AC might have hit 60. I said it about last weeks game against Greeneville that had the offense not played so terrible that they migh Abe been in that game and that stems from QB play, Tate plays hard and is a good runner, but he just does not look comfortable back there and makes mistakes. The frosh makes mistakes too, but has much more upside and ability to overcome those mistakes. I know the fans have a lot more confidence in him and am sure that the players do as well and that can go a long way, if they can build on this and take care of a few things in the secondary than they have a chance to be a pretty good football team by years end. We have to fix some stuff first, the DB's are consistently beat and there were multiple times where we had multiple receivers and one corner with no help, if I was Herritage I would have screened us to death and forced us to play up because we could not hang athletically with their receivers and if we had no one over the top from the start it was easy Pickens deep on our secondary. Herritage missed some opportunities to score over the top where they had receivers free but failed to convert, Clinton and Oak ridge will put up 60 on us if we play defense like that against them. We were still taking too much time getting plays in and had to waist timeouts because of it, that is frustrating. Our kicking game is hurting right now in large part because our Kicker is injured, I was hoping that would be a strength for us this season, but unfortunately big #11 looks to be out a while, I don't know exactly what is going on, but it did not look good when he was helped off the field. I was actually surprised he was kicking because at the beginning of the game I told the guy next to me that he looked hurt, looks like whatever is going on with him got aggravated. I hope he heals up soon
