LBD, Maryville loses a lot of players every year, but they keep winning championships.

I guess he will be in the IB program, or he would be zoned for Riverdale.

They might want to change the flyer. It says 1st annual. I think this is about the 5th or 6th year they have put this on. As LOD says, details, details, details. But then again, I guess it fits right in with this bunch.

Swami, I had you eliminated from being close to the program along time ago after talking to Coach A's two supporters. Besides, anybody that close to a program would not be showing so much support. There is more to a football program than wins and losses.

Kind of a hypocrite when you want say if your Coach a's lawn boy or assistant coach or whatever you are at Riverdale.

Maybe Swami is not on the coaching staff. You would think he could see the stuff going on at Riverdale. But maybe he is just blinded by the love for Coach A.

What about the running kids off. what about the lack of funds to barely run a top program. what about the empty stands.

I think until we beat them Swimi they can jump in any time they want to. I don't think Maryville fans would put up with a coach running a top program into the ground.

I guess making it to the quarterfinals and finishing behind Maryville always will be fine too.

Never thought hearing Riverdale should finish 3rd would be a positive thing.

7 AAA, we are talking about the eight years Coach A has been there. He has had the talent to win a Gold Ball. Now that he has ran everybody off, you are probably right about the talent left.

The young ones should be getting prepared on the freshman and JV teams. If you go watch a freshman practice or game there is about 15 players getting work. The rest are standing around. They are not physically or mentally ready as freshman to compete on varsity. They might improve as the year goes on, but by then your 1 and 4 trying to dig out of a hole. Closer than you think swami.

It's one of those things you would have to be around the program.

The goal at Riverdale is to compete for championships. The goal at Riverdale is to get better during the spring. There was a time at Riverdale when you didn't see the field until you were a junior or senior. The future is not bright because you got 5 freshman playing time. this means you either didn't develop the upperclassmen or you have ran half of them off or both.

Ok, let's split the Maryville school in half. Guess what, the kids find a way to Maryville high because they want to play for Quarles. You would not have SEC commitments driving by Maryville high to play for someone else.

You saying the talent is not there is your lack of eye for talent. That is the only way coach A has won so many games is because the talent covered up his bad coaching. And if he would have paid more attention to defense, his wing-t might could have won a gold ball.

that's exactly what we been telling you swami, building and splitting is not the issue. IT'S THE COACHING. Nolen is part of the problem on the rezoning stuff you had an issue with earlier that no longer is an issue. He didn't fight for some of the zoning we could have kept. And coach A has not been in a tough situation. The talent to win or get to Cookeville has been there.

There is a reason we built more schools. We have more students than Maryville and Alcoa. Split them and they could have 4 schools in 2A.

Swami, you are either on the coaching staff or not close to the program at all. But take a poll from every fan or parent that has been around the program for the last 8 years and 90% will say it is the coaching that has brought the program down. But Swami you are always right and have to get the last word. So let's just say your right this time and blame it on rezoning and kids with no talent and kids with no heart.

Just saying the talent has been there 6 out of 8 years. And the other three schools have no problem with players leaving the program or driving by Riverdale to go play at another school. Now end of story and discussion.

Like you said, a team must have the right coach. Do you remember the O-line that coach A inherited his first few years. I think most of them went on to play at the next level. He has had at least 3 QB's that could get the job done. And I can't remember a year where he didn't have a good RB. I'm sure there were plenty of receivers in that 8 years, but we will never know because he doesn't use them.

It does if you have the right coach. Your just making excuses because you know if coach A is gone the next coach might not keep you around for his lawn boy.

The talent has been at Riverdale to win several Gold Balls in the last 8 years.
