Cheatham plays at Harpeth tonight. I'm hoping for a good game, but it will likely be a blowout.

Waverly and Creekwood have nearly all, if not all, of their players returning next year, so I'd bet that they make splash next season. The only thing standing in their way is CPA in their region. There is almost no way, in my eyes, that either one of those teams can beat the CPA menace.

That is something that I have been noticing with a lot of counties around here. Many of them don't keep up websites with this information, so finding schedules and what-not is a real pain.

I had not heard that, but I'm not at all surprised. Seemed like it may be a down year for them, but they still have the possibility of taking down a team that isn't prepared for them. Hopefully, we'll get to see a hard-nosed, smash-mouth football season with good competition for the district title.

Sycamore definitely looks poised to win this district. They look like they are a mile ahead of everyone in the district. Maybe a few other teams will put up a fight.

Well, the Cubs, as usual, aren't that great. But I heard that Harpeth has a pretty good junior forward, and they've looked decent so far.

If they don't win, I bet they will probably be the most talented team in the district. Now we'll just have to wait and see if they live up to their potential.

From what I've heard, the boys from Sycamore and Harpeth are gonna be pretty good this year. I don't think the Cubs are gonna be that good this year, but we've come a long way since last year's beatings.

I just hope CPA is prepared for the freight train that is coming into the Lions' Den on Monday. Cheatham may be coming off of a loss, but they will play a good game. All of that said, Cheatham has to play their best game of the year if they want to advance, and I hope that they bring it on Monday night.

Looking forward to the new district this season. Hopefully, it'll be a good season this year!

I have to agree. It just seems like the teams outside of Cheatham County are much better.

I heard that as well. I didn't get to see the game, but I hope someone who was there can tell us what happened.

Does anyone know who won the Heritage/ Westmoreland game the other night?

Heritage has been looking good lately, but I don't think that they can hang with Cheatham. I may be wrong, but we haven't lost yet.

Although Harpeth's been hot lately, there is no way that they'll beat Cheatham Friday night.

I'm expecting a close game tonight from Cheatham and Rossview, but the district champs will definitely take it home tonight. The boys will show that they have what it takes to repeat.

I was there, and Harpeth fought hard the entire game. Anderton hit a last second 3 for the win. But from what I've heard Pearl wasn't missing any football players.
