Our kick returner is top three in shelby county if not higher. Richardson returns punts but may not this game it depends. Now our punt team leaves a lot to be desired if you ask me but it seems to get the job done. No field goal kicker and all squib kicks on kickoffs.

The defense is great against 2a competition the stats don't do them any justice because of the tough schedule they played. They have a Purdue commit at DE and they have a few guys who come in strictly for defense and they bringing the load.

I feel you there's nothing like the playoff atmosphere in any sport on any any level.Especially when you are playing for the chance to represent your side of the state in the championship. But we have to give the boys a chance to prepare for each other so we can enjoy a great game.

Trezevant won't look to pass much if at all. The secondary will have to be able to help on run support.

He just had 284 of that on 14 carries. The rest came from the other guys I was telling yall about. This was in the 2nd round of the playoffs. While everyone is focusing on Richardson the other guys will kill you. Trust me this game will not be about Richardson the real test will be can you stop the other guys. Each one of them would be a star on the Waverly team but thy are just the supporting cast on this Trezevant team. But I guarantee you will have to stop them in order to win this game.

Don't have to have one when you rushing for over 600 yrds. They better not get caught slipping looking in the backfield then you will see if they have one when the WR is flying past the corner.

I am in no way referring to the Waverly fans you are supposed to support your team. But trust me there are plenty of Trezevant haters to go around on here. Personally I dont think everyone wants Trezevant to win they just assume they will so they choose that side. I hope it is a good game but obviously I'm pulling for Trezevant.

With the game being played at Crump Trezevant's skill players will have an advantage. Speed can't be coached. I have a strong feeling Trezevant will spread the ball around and get Richardson under 10 carries this game. They've got 2 game season and he will be needed in both.

The pro-Trezevant are few on here. They may pick Trezevant to win but there are few pro Trezevant but a lot of Trezevant haters.

I know we will be back in the underdog roll next season in 3A I hear it's a team that has been dominating that division for years. And you better believe if we are good enough to make it I will believe Trezevant will beat them until I see that we can't.

I will take up for you Vandy you are right about believing in your boys. This is what its all about its 4 teams left and Waverly happens to be left. There are nothing but great teams left. If Waverly fans don't think they can win then who will. I remember feeling that way when we played Greeneville we were hype all the way there but Trezevant as a team,coach, nor fans were prepared for the onslaught that pursued in that game. We knew we had a better team against Fulton but they had just broken the state record for points in a season. We tempered our expectations a little as fans but the team and coach were ready that time. If not for 9 fumbles and our #1 back injured we held them to 29. Everyone will tell you that you all don't have a chance and maybe you don't but you still have to believe..Good Luck!!!

just like we shut Don Miller down in 94. Well not really he got over 100 and a td unfortunately that was the only one.

Basically the same thing but with a different title on it. Remember the Greeneville debacle or if you dont I'm sure someone would be eager to tell you. We were the worst talked about team ever in the history of TN football. They were just eager to change that perception and I believe they have done a good job at doing that.

That's what I was just saying. Its easy for us in the stands to want the kids to do something but they will have to decide if they want to keep putting that helmet in there. Richardson is like something they have never seen before unless they have played a top 5 back in the COUNTRY.

I don't think it will be a pushover it will be something along the lines of the Marion game i believe. Waverly defense will play great 52 of 60 plays but those other 8 will be big plays or touchdowns. I know its easy to look at the boys on the field and judge their hearts and intestinal fortitude's but trying to tackle Richardson play after play will be something they will have to decide if they want to do. He will bring it every play and once you key on him Sammie Swing will kill you. If you stop them two here comes Tijuan Mason. You might stop them three then here comes Joshua Reed. Remember those names because everyone thinks its just Big Baby but its not. Then don't forget Trezevant will fake the run and hit one of those speedy receivers streaking behind the defense who will be keying on the run.
