Red...your info is way off about Carter! The only player that got major minutes of this year's starters was the Bowden kid. Jackson did come from Fulton and as for the other starters they all played JV. And dressed out on Buell's 8-22 team. Higgins will get that program turned around at Central. As for speculating what coaches will do or dealing with parents, what coach does'nt deal with this?

Everybody has a chance....nobody gave Fla. Gulf Coast a chance to last past the first rd last march and look at the run they had....You never know tournament time what can happen...stay tuned!

It was 19-11 when Carter pulled it out to start the 2nd qtr...Cak struggled to beat Alcoa by 5 earlier in the district tournament....Cak struggled to beat Austin-east by 10....carter beat them 17 and 24....so all your statistical comparisons mean one thing....teenagers making decisions when it counts!! Cak is a very well-coached fundamental team...Carter showed they can play defense and have more up their sleeve than people thought.....let's take nothing away from either team....they both played hard and that's that....

Dragon...that was Thursday/Friday/Sunday the 12-13-15 of Feb.....school was snowed out mon. 16th...they played G-P on sat. The 14th....now you know why they were so rusty vs Alcoa....

Once again Fulton fans leave out key points....at Fulton Carter's pg did not play...was out with a concussion which made a huge difference and Bowden played a grand total of 5 min the whole game before fouling out so he was a non-factor. As for the "hate Fulton because of football" comment, news flash, nobody cares! This is a basketball forum.

Carter vs Fulton in Finals Rd *4 *District Finals never happened

Irish...it is a shame the 3-aa tourney games were cancelled. Fulton won rd 1 Carter led all game in rd 2 leading by 14-16 at one point and literally gave the game away. Rd 3 would have been worth the price of the ticket, but no District 3 will be crowned. I like Fulton Carter and G-P to win but w/o a healthy Hale Cak has to be favored.

Like LA...they have good inside/outside balance....if they can hit their 3's to open up their big man.....look out!

Did some sniffing of my own 4-pt....I think we can agree that there are coaches who are fortunate enough to stay at one place and those who are trying to find that situation. Should have specified that Carter's coach was at Douglas County a total of 14 years..(8years the first time and 6 the second time). In "sniffing" this coach built Douglas into a powerhouse both stints...first time he went 162-65 with 5-8 state appearances and 60-49 with 2-4 state appearances the second time)...Before Douglas he was in Atlanta at a school named Banneker and went 74-38 with 2-4 state appearances. The thing that is consistent is the style....his teams led Georgia in scoring 15-17 years. All 3 stops the programs had a losing season before he took over.

What's your point? Looking at his record the guy can coach and builds programs. A lot of coaches move looking for the next challenge or situation to build. We as outsiders looking in can only speculate on why coaches move, so it is unfair to read into anything.

Carter gave the game away the second time losing by 3 ......as stated earlier Carter was without their pg the first time(concussion) and Bowden played 4 minutes fouling out.....
