  1. Down two TD’s but we look like we’ve woken up a bit. Wouldn’t count us out just yet, it’s gonna be a fight.
  2. We had a long TD run come back on a penalty around 2-3 minutes left and ended up driving down until 16 seconds. Short kickoff. Lake county gets a pass TD last play before the half. 2 pt attempt failed 38-16 going into the half. That snuffed out a lot of momentum for us.
  3. TD UC. 32-16 lake county 16 seconds before the half.
  4. What’s the deal with the penalty they didn’t end up calling? People near us were calling block in the back but I didn’t see it.
  5. Tyner scores and succeeds in the two point conversion with 7 seconds left. 14-14. Tie game, going to OT.
  6. I agree. The time of possession is really the story of how this game is going so far. Union City has just failed to punch it in for the exclamation point on two 90+ yard drives now, unfortunately for us.
  7. Union City 14, Tyner 6 going into the half. Looking to be a good one fellas.
  8. Jones got his ankle taped and is lookin to be walking around fine. Should definitely make a return to the game.
  9. End of 1st. UC still up 7-0 and knocking on the door of another score, 1st and 10 on the Tyner 16.
  10. Union City scores on a 60+ yard 9 play drive to start off the first quarter. Followed by a stop around midfield & a punt to the 6 yard line. Tra Jones slow to get up on a successful 4th and 1 attempt, out of the game for now but I think he’ll most likely come back into the game.
  11. I’m not gonna be able to watch, I’ll just be listening via the radio stream, but I hope for an injury free game & another gold ball for UC & Coach Bowling! They’ve earned it.
  12. I think that’s the difference between a good program and a playoff winning, state championship winning program. When coaches have the players working their butts off but after practice you still see player so working out oftheir own free will, you KNOW those kids want it and will do whatever it takes to get it.
  13. Thanks so much. Only stream I could find required a subscription. Wouldn't have gotten to watch without you.
  14. No point in jumping in now, but this is such a cool thread!
  15. UC will be down a considerable amount of starters, so we won't be dominant like this year, but I have faith they'll be just fine.
  16. Not 100% sure, but I think that record was broken recently.
  17. Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying. Glad to get a completely neutral opinion on the matter.
  18. diditagain, I'm not going to be able to attend the game, but I sure hope you can. I'll be watching on the internet. Also, I can understand getting worked up and I'm sure that wasn't your intention, I accept your apology although I'm not sure if everyone else will.
  19. This is the kind of image we don't need associated with the tornadoes or our community as a whole.
  20. Okay, usually I just read because honestly, it's enjoyable and sometimes amusing to hear about this stuff. But I have to say several of the other Union City Coach T posters seem to be a lot more disrespectful than they used to be.. I'm honestly disappointed. I don't want to offend or anything, but you're giving us all an image of cockiness. I understand our team is good. Probably one of if not the best team we've ever had. But that's no reason to be this overconfident about these things and make others feel bad and directly insult players and teams. It's not right. I got personally insulted when I played (although my name wasn't directly mentioned it) and it frustrated the living daylights out of me. I didn't know how to respond and there was no real way I could besides let my actions speak louder than their words. But it does hurt to see someone on the T insult you, I can promise you that. So as a community, I think we should stop all this disrespect towards Coalfield as I'm sure they will play well and fight as hard as they ever have. (I'm sure this doesn't need to be said, but I don't mean everyone. There are several UC posters that are showing a lot of respect, and Coalfield, neutral teams, and others appreciate it.)
  21. Most of the uc to central transfers say they went there because they either had more friends there or because the academics are easier. The two juniors on the uc team that came here as freshman are twins, and devout Christians and they felt the students they were surrounded by were worse influences on them. The pattern here? None of the reasons were FOOTBALL. None of the reasons were SPORTS.
