Probably not. We've been known to practice with wet footballs, if there is a high probability of rain on game night. We usually play a little better when conditions are bad.

You are correct. I told some of my Lion friends not too long ago that team was a freak of nature.lol. Our offense is not flashy, about as exciting as watching paint dry, but it is highly effective. We would have given your Lions a much better fight had we been 100%.

As Bigswo alluded to, this year's team is very comparable to the 2009 team. Tough and gritty. Not a 2014 type team by any stretch of the imagination, but a good one none the less.

Bigswo, is not exaggerating. For a couple weeks there was someone hurt in practice every day, on top of the game time injuries. The coaches even said they had never seen anything like it. The fact we made it the the Quarter final round does say a lot about the determination of our kids and the skill of the coaching staff. Yes, we did lose to the eventual state champions. The team that played them the next week lost by a similar score and they were healthy. Quit is not in our kids vocabulary. And Yes, I agree our programs are very similar in recent years.

Officials. If we get the right crew, they will be very fair. If we get a bad crew, it will still be fair because they will make bad calls both ways. Lol. We have several of the latter.

I would say seeing UC throw the ball 6 times in a ball game would be the equivalent of seeing Bigfoot.

If the final is 45-10 UC, we UC fans will be as equally shocked as the Mayfield fans.

Mumbles, right now it is only a 2 year deal. 2019 and beyond is a big unknown. 1980, I had a very similar thought recently. This is just a pride game. All weaknesses and skeem flaws will be exposed for both teams. I figure this game will put both our teams about 3 weeks ahead of our opponents. Sure the the loser will have their pride bruised, but the knowledge and experience gained will be imeasurable.

However, after info I got today and the fact these two meet 3 games into the the season, the Falcons get crowned Region Champions this year.

Hops and Barley, lots of options there. Their fried pickles are good. Don Sol, if you're looking for good Mexican. Moustos is excellent, Italian food, a bit pricey but you won't go away hungry.
