  1. I'm hoping a few above me go for broke. Maybe I can gain a couple more spots before the regular season ends.
  2. I would have liked the Marshall County/Pearl Cohn game to have counted. But Coach made the correct call to pull that game from the contest. After the Thursday night games I lost another game on the leader while moving up 2 spots. Top 15, and hoping to hang onto that spot. Good luck.
  3. Even though it went against me you made the right call coach.
  4. Please take a look at TOTAL votes cast on that game. Then turn a blind eye and let the results stand. It's games like this that separate the pack.
  5. I got one more for tomorrow night. The game in question is over. I think the results from it should stand. With 130 votes cast thats good circumstantial evidence that anyone that wanted to vote did vote.
  6. Everybody would have taken a loss. Except for maybe 1 person. And then we'd never hear the end of it.
  7. ST, I say leave it as it is. Yeah, I took Pearl Cohn and I believe that everyone that wanted to vote did vote. I looked at the total overall votes that were cast. The only game that got more total votes cast was the Anderson County/Gibbs game at 133. The Marshall County/Pearl game had 130 cast. Everybody that could vote and wanted to vote did vote!!!
  8. As Tom Petty so eloquently sang, "I'm Free, Free Fallin' !!
  9. I just noticed that. Finally got my picks in. I've got a couple dogs. I started to just pick the Thursday games then see where I stood after those before I picked the Friday games. Thought about taking a greater risk then on Friday. But I don't think that's a very good strategy overall. So, picks are in. Good luck.
  10. Looks like they are a member of TSSAA in some sports. But not football.
  11. I'm part of that crowd. So that makes two.
  12. @CoachT What am I suppose to know about the 1-0 team Providence Christian? @ Chattanooga Baptist
  13. Week 7 results Thursday: 2-0 Week: 9-3 Dawgs: 1-1: (Melrose) - (*McCallie) 50center: 0-1: () - (Smyrna) Games <8: 0-1* Placement: 17 (-5) Games back: 6 (-1) Analysis: No room for error. I picked Melrose out of thin air and after Thursday's 2 wins I was peering into the top 10 in the 11th spot. Then *McCallie fumbled away my other dawg pick on Friday night. Combine that with my 50center loss you'll see why I dropped 5 spots and lost another game on the leader. I have yet to make this week's picks but I hope to find a couple diamonds in the rough. Good luck
  14. "I have a bad feeling about this."
  15. Boyd Buchanan hung tough tonight. It was closer than I expected at least. CCS would have been the easy pick for me. Looks like CCS, Boyd and Silverdale are all Chattanooga privates playing well. Tough region for sure.
  16. I'm unsure of who I would have taken in that game. It got removed long before I really got a chance to try and compare those two.
  17. I hit on one of my 2 dawgs. Hopefully I don't give it back after Friday's games. My 50center is the lesser of the two. Looks like that game is split vote wise around 72-70.
  18. I have 2 yuge dawgs and another is a 50 percent-er.
  19. Week 6 results Thursday: 3-0 Week: 12-3 Dawgs: 2-1 (West, McEwen - *Green Hill) Games <8: 2-1 Placement: 12 (+11) Games back: 5 (same) Analysis: I gained 1 game on the leader Thursday, but by the time Friday night ended, I had given that game back. Good week at 12-3 but didn't gain on the leader. Moved up 11 spots. A thinning of the herd. This week I have 3 dawgs. Good luck. *lost by 1
  20. Maybe so. And if so, I wouldn't feel so badly about them. I will make another post sometime next week with my results and you'll be able to see my dawg record and which ones panned out for me. I do my analysis each week basically for myself. Meaning I can readily bring up my posts and recall things. I'm sure no one else gains anything from my ramblings.
  21. I took USJ. They also won. I went 3-0 tonight. I have 2 more dogs for Friday night.
  22. I took West tonight myself. I think they were an 85% underdog in the contest.
  23. McKenzie should be most everyone's pick since they are the defending Western champs and return nearly everyone on the team that only lost by 3 in the state title game. If you look at scores from last years playoff games, there were a good handful of teams that were within a TD of each other. And the West looks to be head and shoulders above the East. Homefield advantage this year never looked bigger in my opinion.
  24. Someday I'm gonna grow up and be like Pujo.
  25. Those 90%+ sure picks that don't pan out burns nearly everyone so it's not a bad burn.
